Not quiet enough for me! I'm watching this:

    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Toro-22293-Commercial-21-Lawn-Mower-Immaculate-1-Month-old-/111388311123?pt=UK_Garden_Lawnmowers&hash=item19ef42be53

but it's already beginning to look pricey for this stage in the game. :(

To be honest, it's much posher than I need, but I need one about that size! :o

Ebay is deperately quiet. Often the items are not viewable. I've tried searching for some stuff on ebay & it's all from USA. It's dire.

Have had a SH!TE time... came here yesterday to get some boglets ready for the auction.. and found one dead...Vets has been here today.. seems like one or two of them have got a respetory infection... so they have all been injected with anti-flams and anti -b's.. The vet had a trainee with her, and she done a quick autopsy to confirm... by all accounts it can come on really quickly... so monitoring the pigs all afternoon.. to report back to the vet in the morning, as she is thinking about doing blood tests...

So we had the hunt people here to take him away ( it wasn't Friday Alfie)

AND to top it all some had read the signs to clean up their dog's mess, BUT dumped in right in front of the piglets pen... D.I.C.K.S

This smallholding lark.. is so heart breaking, but as we have said before it is all part of the smallholding life....

FK.... thanks for the offer of a cuppa, will defo call in when I am passing...
neighbours.... like that, the best thing to do is head down, and take it, and hopefully they will run out of ideas to try an report you about... and hopefully it will fizzle out...

Even though I come on here venting about the one/s reporting us etc... I get wise words from everyone especially our Davesnave.. which calms me down...

Chin up, shoulders back, boobs out, and strut passed them like its not bothering you..

Sorry for all your woes CTC - when there's land there's controversy.

Hope that it all calms down.
Sorry about the piglet it is a shame.

Glad you are feeling a little better LIR.

Lovely photos - plants & kittens & doors & bathroom do ups - very lovely

The kittens get me broody too for them as we have ole cat fading.

Caught a bug that seems a corker - thoat like I've been chewing glass & can't stop coughing.:(:(:(

Got the old van away the other night - after a few hours of tinkering & changing wheels over it's away to be resurrected \& given a brand new life. 2nd thing I've sold on Gumtree recently. It's owned by Ebay but as yet doesn't charge, but don't hold yer breath.

Got ironing to do yet for holiday let change over, but don't feel like doing anything, but must gird myself & get out there. I'll be doing that for hours................

They may come up next year? Possibly. I think some poppies take more than 12 months.

I think they'll come up when they feel like it, any time in the next 20 years. ;)

Phoned the tile people today. After offering me all their roof wood on Thursday, they now find their builder intends to use it for stud work inside the house. Well, any good builder would.

    Oh well.....:(

CTC, respiratory illness seems to do its worst and spread in warm, muggy conditions such as we've had. With chickens, it certainly comes on quickly. So sorry you lost a boglet and hope the vet has got the situation under control for you. :A

I'm back :D been away for a few days with the family and have returned to a whole load of weeds

CTC So sorry to hear about your loss, it sounds as if the vet is switched on and taking it seriously so hopefully there should be no more losses. I have everything crossed that a heap of good luck comes your way soon.

AlfieThe wedding sounds divine, I am looking forward to seeing the pics :D

Dave Gorgeous kittens! So like one of mine :D

Choille Sorry to hear you are unwell. We use Gumtree often and have had good experiences so far as have many of our friends.

Sorry I have not replied to everyone :o I will catch up properly on all your news soon!
