Sing Along Attempt On The Train – You Won’t Believe What Happened Next!0 -
Horse Woman next door swears by ACV, both for her animals and herself. No one knows how old she is, but I sure hope I'm as active at her age! :rotfl:
We went to see the architect today. He doesn't think we'll have a problem with our re-specified design, as it's reducing rather than increasing what's already been passed, so he's doing some drawings we can take to the planning dept, and then any builders we choose.
This afternoon we began clearing the garage, which has really been a bit of a dump, but as I said to DW, not a damp dump, despite its external appearance. Once it's re-roofed, I can't see us resisting the temptation to break through into what will become our bedroom. A good brickie could have half of it double skinned in no time.......
As for the 'man cave' next door, that will have a great roof, and the base up to about 1m is perfectly sound, so it's only a matter of filling the middle bit with something better than secondhand windows from the tip, which is what seems to be what our predecessors used. OK it won't be officially habitable, but I bet it will be from a practical POV.0 -

It's cheering that that sort of thing can still happen, isn't it?
I believe that the Tarka Line can get a little like that on a Saturday, when the Exeter Chiefs have been playing at home. Those disembarking at Eggesford always seem very jolly.0 -

The Internet thingy sounds like the deal they are trying to roll out here to the guy in the barn conversions.
He isn't having it.:D Thought it was too expensive, especially installation..... and then there was the problem of relaying to others.
So he went with Tesco.
Me, I just struggle along with 50 whatevers, instead of getting 1.8 mega-whatevers, like in the village. :exclamati
Whatever....:p
That weather makes you a lot luckier than we were today. Nearly lit the fire tonight
Meanwhile, I've discovered not all mizunas are created equal. Some of the seed I've bought recently has come up very coarse and hasn't enjoyed 'cut and come again.' So, I'm now producing my own seed. The plants are in bucket-sized pots and over 6' tall, but boy are they making seeds! :j0 -

50 !! is that your signal strength !! thats mega
i have no option here as NO other provider can provide
we are not doing a relay system [if we do it] its individual, just cheaper the more in the area have it [engineers ]
this is encrypted [?] so no one can hijack the signal.0
