Cowering inside today as it's over cast with showers & midgied.

I too have a weed infested garden, but what can you do?

Dave - architects should really allow you to express what you want, that's their remit, or should be. OH spends time establishing what clients want & comes up with several sketches & then goes from there. Some try & impose their ideas - egos. Also a lot don't have a practical bent, so don't understand the actual reality of making the design 'work' - course I'm biased.

I am amazed at the incompetence of some of the architects I've had the misfortune to come across - it's a small pond here. The first was just dull, dull, dull and the second came up with a design that was over three times our budget! In the end, we pretty much designed it ourselves and said :draw that for planning.... It's an expensive process. Jobs for the boys?

Geese eat as much grain as a cow & shoite everywhere.

Noooo! Actually, I think goose poo is the world's least offensive poo. It's basically digested greens. They do poo everywhere, though. But they eat creeping buttercup, so I love them :)

Geese are now on the school dinner menu on Lewis coz they invade the place & eat all the available grazing! Rather a cute way to deal with it I thought.

I think you do need rather a lot of space for geese coz of the shoite thing - slippy slidey.................

Gooslings are cute. I have thought of getting a pair for guard dogs, but until Pine Marten maurauding persist then I won't get any more fowl.
