Yeah, I have a duvet round my back/shoulders and on the side not nearest the fire, and two cats, one on each leg!

Temperature here is over 10c, but it certainly didn't feel like it when I went for my usual walk around the boundaries. Nasty old wind rattling across from Dartmoor direction. They said it would rain, but we've had none.

EDIT: We have rain....:(

You know that feeling when you have done something then feel good about it, then sit there and think about it?



I think we might have just, with our new path, created a channel to the front door for surface water, d'uh.


We'll need some heavy rain to see if that's the case really. Thank good ness we didn't set them!

simple resolve as well, which is a relief!

id better let you know [incase you think ive fell down a hole !] that im going to be off line for a while i just cannot find a company to take over the line at the new house :cool:

i will pass info if of any interest to LIR or CTC via txt's

i took my new vehicle out today to do an airport run... way too posh for me :rotfl::rotfl:

its a mercedes citan ? back seats go down to make a van .

back to packing and shifting

im so fed up of this, my gas is playing up so im going to go to new house tonite for a bath and gonna kip on the sofa there... bed should be going there tomorow..:j
well if i disapear courtesy of bt getting the day right , i will try and keep up but stay safe y'all...

Surface run-off can be surprising. At our old place, we were at the low point of the whole road, but the implications of that didn't show for many years, until we had a freak downpour.

The house was never in danger, but it was intriguing watching the torrent rush past into the back garden, which was over 1' deep in places for a short while.
