JC...We were going to buy land just inside a national park, we pulled out last minute, had the mortgage line up, just waiting to sing etc, but the land owner told us a few porkies, which we found out last minute.... There was no way in a million years we would get planning permission to build a house, even though there houses around that piece of land, we would have to apply to them to put fences up in the field, their reason was, stock fencing would change the view of the land etc... so you can imagine what it would be like every time you wanted to do something on the land, you would have to phone them up, and ask if it needed planning permission or not..
Alfie. not long now..and you will be out of there...
weather was def calmer last night, but with more to come over the next few days...I dread to think what more damage it will do, Loads of roofs been blown off, trees down, and we even had a sand storm.. in our city....centre...Work to live= not live to work0 -

Hail and sleet here now, but I got the chickens out and inspected the sheep before it arrived.....just about.
Headache and the start of a sore throat now, which is just what I don't need, with rehearsals and performances from Monday to Saturday next week.
Hmmm... I'll have to rest.0 -

Gorgeous sunny morning here, just a gentle breeze... Big change from yesterday! :j
DD1 and family supposed to be coming up from London tomorrow... But the Virgin West Coast Line is closed - Crew Station lost its roof, and I rather think there are other problems too. We'll see what happens tomorrow!0 -
