    Better times ahead though!

*hope choille, itsme, rozee and all others on the west side are OK. :A

(Off to rehearse, if the Village Hall still has a roof!)
  • All ok here - fingers crossed it stays that way - in fact although incredibly wet & windy this morning (certainly the worst we've seen it wind-wise in the almost three years we've been here), it was lovely and sunny this afternoon so we were able to take a break from building work to take the dogs out for a long walk :D

Keep safe CTC and everyone else too......x

Safe here too, snowing and unpleasant but far better than in other places.

    Evening,

It's getting fairly bad here now, bin blew down the street and I had a struggle to open the front door as the wind was forcing it shut. Was supposed to be going out but have decided to stay in - it'll wait til tomorrow.

Did another mystery shop today and have a couple more lined up for next week. A few more pennies towards the daydream...

Found this blog - this is my inspiration at the moment

Also found another woodland for sale nearby - even cheaper....

  • Agree with Alfie, National Parks are a law unto themselves...

It's not actually owned by the National Park, it's freehold and there is working forestry actively taking place within the national park already. There's also no restrictive clauses stated in the particulars, all sporting, rights are included also. But having said that the national park are the planning authority so would have to check out what's allowed. Maybe that's why it's so cheap...
Can't buy it anyway, not got the means at the moment, but good to see what's out there...
