Alf just called and said she's seen three cars skidded off the road so far.

Weather here nothing unusual for us. Mind you, neither are dodgy drivers. :(.

Its one of official days to do all the horses all day, but a client is here. I need to find out what exactly has been done, but .....I have cakes in the oven I don't want to leave. Of course they are welcome here any time, but I do wish they'd tell me what's going on!

Hope you are all safe. Horrible weather here, wet cold and windy. As Mr BD is away for the weekend he put out the recycling bin out ready for collection on Monday morning. Unfortunately the wind blew it over last night, and I was out first thing this morning picking up our recyclables from the road and all over the garden. Not a fun way to start the day.

Charlie hates the wind whistling and wanders round the house whining. I have informed him that unlike Davesnave I am not Emperor of all I survey, have no control over the elements, and he will just have to console himself by toasting his tummy in front of the stove. :D

Just taken some tasty treats out to the chickens, including sweetcorn, pasta, baked pototo and oyster shell. All was pretty decorous until one of the chickens found a slice of grape. They have never had grapes before, but the excitement of one finding some communicated to the others in a nano second and there was much racing around and excited squawking - very entertaining :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Can't wait to try them on mealworms.
It is a good idea to be alone in a garden at dawn or dark so that all its shy presences may haunt you and possess you in a reverie of suspended thought.

The 4 acre plot is up for £35,000, wish I was in a position to go for it now, it's literally down the road from me!

Annoyed, cannot find the one I wanted to show Alfie ATM.

We have to decide layout. Non small holders don't really get why we want the down stairs as work shop/garaging....as it makes more sense for us to keep much and heavy stuff down stairs and any accommodation potential upstairs.

We're not really sure how much to try and squeeze in, but this space really has to work.

    I'd LIKE...

Down stairs.....really big wood store, maybe work shop/tool store, garage space for three ish cars? Dog/yard kitchen (could be for upstairs too at a push?) horse/dog wash down room.

Upstairs , kitchenette, sitting room, shower room, bedroom? ( two bedroom s?) .
Longer term DH would like to use this as a recording studio if the acoustics work....

Its long and thin. bout sixty feet long, and not sure how wide.....hope fully a cars depth!!!!!

Problem is going to be head height upstairs. Its a rebuild of a missing building and we want to make it taller than possibly originally was....the council gave us a photo of it and said we should 're build that'. Well.....um....ok, sort of.

Alfie...its the first one I think I wanted to show you.....I think they might be on the forest?
