what do they expect to achieve by that???


good idea about not banking it... are you going to return it, or just hold onto it and cash it in later, or wait for that huge hunky juicy cheque to arrive? lol...


until you are happy, do not sign anything, do not except anything, do not give any info to them. BUT you know this, and are doing it brilliantly...

:rotfl::rotfl: what they SHOULD have done is return my deposit when my long lease ended in 2012 then i repay deposit for the next lease [monthly rolling]
BUT
a) they didnt renew my lease even after i asked and asked for 3 months when old one ended [they should have contacted me 1 clear month before old one ended to get me to agree to new one]
b) they should have placed deposit in deposit scheme and sent me relevant paperwork within 30 days when new lease started.
c] if i accept cheque that means they can hide from a) and b)

So, off we troop with the chain saw and now THATs not playing ball.

DH is going to try changing the chain. Which is near end of life any way.

It was supposed to be nice today. Even at 1pm, the weatherperson on the Beeb was assuring me it would be a 'generally dry afternoon' hereabouts.
