Poor things BD. that's really sad. My ex batts have been quite the opposite, clingy in the extreme, slightly suffocating ly so. It makes me really sad these girls feel differently. :(

Yes LIR I have been surprised too. My previous ex batts were a lot friendlier and not half so quick to take fright. Perhaps these ones had a particularly bad time. :( We were allocated a time late in the day to pick them up - and I do wonder if we have ended up with skittier and less friendly ones as the calmer ones would have been more easily caught up to go off to their new homes earlier in the day.

Still if I stand quietly in the shed they do settle down and scratch around making happy chicken chuckling noises. Any movement by me in any direction elicts a fear response though.

Really lovely day here ...again...how odd!

Worked down in the woods gathering up fallen limbs, twigs & could be at that for a year or so. The ground seems as if it's springing into life....surely not this early?

Dave Mr BD is going to try out the moustache joke at rehearsals this evening :D:D:D It made me groan so I expect it will be popular. He is now reviewing the script for other 'gems':rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:I can hear him sniggering in the kitchen while he is reading it.

Lir do you mean a pole saw... slightly confused. If you could post a picci of what you mean and I'll pick his brains when he lands.

Phase one of the refit done. Everything all priced up. Phase 2 has been moved forward a week. EEEk. Panicing its not going to fit especially as we've got 3 John Deere ride ons to accommodate. Not stressing.....much. Need to get the JDs in place before the other firm arrives to do the refit.

I'm considering those plastic food storage tanks better days. We only need to pump water from the muck into them to store to to use for feeding the veg with. I was thinking if I got say, four of them, it wouldn't be too much of an eye sore? We could fill more mind you. :(

This I'm not surprised little pv action. Its been grey a long time. Mind you, its also been mild, so its not a loss all round. :)

i can get those tanks aprox £15 each... do you mean the white plastic in a cage type ?
