  • Rozee I am sure the weather forcast said we have more to come...

Rummer... Maybe all the stress before Christmas, and not long before Rumlet is here, has knocked your immune system a bit... Just cwtch up.. and pamper yourself..

Rummer... re- the post you put on the bread maker post... why don't you ask on freecycle or on FB sell/want pages..??

I had my Panasonic one a few years back when they were a silly price on Amazon... But have only used it a few times... must admit I didn't like the way the bread came out, as I found it heavy compared to supermarket/bakery bread...BUT on saying that I don't know how many additives have been added to that bread...

LIR.... Big Dog looks beautiful....when you meet up with Alfie give her a HUGE hug from us...... she really is a gem...

LIR Glad to hear she is healing well and it is a positive that there are treatment options to discuss. She really is stunning!

CTC So much has happened recently that I have not taken as good care of myself as I should and I have been remedying it recently. I often find my body goes on strike just after a period of stress when I start to calm down so I have a cold and a cold sore to show for weeks on edge! I have put ads on for bread makers before with no joy :(

Rozee Good to hear the chickens are laying :D

Dave I refuse to be on Facebook so you are not alone. The hosp game sounds great and I agree a british small holder version sounds grand. Then I could plan and work to my little hearts content all from the comfort of the couch :rotfl:

My OH and DD are away out on various adventures today so I have curled on my comfy chair with a cuppa, crochet and a Harry Potter film. As much as I adore my family it is so nice to have a few hours of peace and quiet :D

I'm not on FB. Keep getting nagged to get the business on there but really loathe to. I know its the way to go and will have to get my head round it, especially with all the plans we've got coming together next year.

From a business point of view. with a bit of self promotion etc it def gets you out there, amongst the locals... and internationally...and its free advertising, unless you pay to get your page/advert promoted...

are any of your kids on FB?? maybe they could do one for you?

They could put the basic info on for you... and then maybe every day put one product on there... or just put special offers on there etc... They do recommend you do a post at least a few times a week, so that way you are making people remember your business

    evening all...:D

while i remember the title...just heard a song on chitty chitty bang bang [i know....:o ] called "from the ashes of disaster the roses grow" or something like that... and i laughed as it fits most of us !! ;) :rotfl:

ive had a quietish day. took mum to visit pops as he had a temperature yesterday and he was a tad doom and gloom.:(
so i said id take her to reassure her today..after talking "farts" and "dogs" he cheered up a bit ;):D
i think he just had too many visitors that he had to talk to [which tires him out] over crimble.
my sister and her OH are staying at mums for a few weeks []
sore point with me as they only live cambridge and havent visited since july  .... and are going off to visit various friends , using mum as a base...... YET excuse has been they neither like driving ???
other sister doesnt drive yet comes over from IOW regularly [2 x buses, ferry, bus again and then returns ] ah well ..

water levels are lowering on the forest thank goodness.:)

apparently ALL 10 horses escaped through a damaged fence on xmas day into friends landscaped garden...:o :rotfl:
she was bribing them with a rattly bucket of feed and her DH was opening gate as they aproached but in friends words " for every 2 i got in he let 3 out !!" it was hillarious she said as the mini's were all doing leeps and bounds like naughty children... albeit over her flower beds !:o all back in to a heap of hay and happy now. fence fixed...;)

im soooooo looking forward to LIR and DH 's visit .... just wear wellies ! and nothing light coloured  ;):D:D

hope all you peeps keep safe.
the wind here has been lethal.... yeh yeh :p

OMG LIR...... is that the house or the farm buildings??

Once the wind gets behind/under something that's it...

Hubby went to the ranch and a tree on the lane has blown over and has crashed onto someone's shed... the tree is not one of ours, BUT I should imagine as it was on the lane, but outside the person's fence, they might try blaming us....

Made a loaf of bread this afternoon... used the bread maker to do the dough, and then cooked in the oven, just taken it out now, and it does look like a proper loaf.... lol.....cant wait for it to cool, and have bread and butter...mmmmmmm
