Hi. No Hangover here. I bought a bottle of Babysham instead of my usual Asti ... But I left half the bottle as it was naff, not what I remembered it to be like at all...
By about 3 - 4pm I was totally bored as usual, which then went into tiredness...
Really do want to spend this time off up the ranch, but it is so wet, damp etc There is nothing we can do really outside. Just wised it had been cold and crisp, so at least we could have done something...
Davesanve... I have been given diff varieties of pepper seeds when do you start sowing yours???Work to live= not live to work0 -
Not hungover, cannot drink;). Am still in bed though...DH doing what has to be done outside. ( its taking him awhile mind you) then bringing me a hot drink.
I'm watching the beautiful sun rise from the warmth of bed. There is stuff we could do here CTC, a rather awfully long list in fact, but its whether or not we will bother to day.c

Alf, public apology, I will check my mailbox more often. Computer has been mainly used for Fireman Sam and Gigglebellies over last few days :rotfl::rotfl:
Well, straight after crimbo dinner the hordes left for distant destinations leaving a lovely quiet house. DW sat down and promptly fell asleep. We were zonked out, mainly due to 4 nights broken sleep so a good 10 hour sleep last night and the world feels so much calmer!0 -

About February, under heat, as around 25c is best to get them going.
I will have to send you those pea seeds soon. RAS wanted some too. Then there's marshmallows for choille....
I will try to get organised by Choille Day!
I gave DW some small shears for doing the yews, and some hybrid scissors/secateurs for the box, like this
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Darlac-Gardening-Ltd-Compact-Shear/dp/B0058SMAHA/ref=sr_1_8?s=outdoors&ie=UTF8&qid=1388047136&sr=1-8&keywords=darlac
I also gave her a voucher to buy a Bramley apple, or whatever takes her fancy at one of the tree nurseries.
People just gave me vouchers, 'cos they know what a fussy beggar I am....oh, except for the smallholder's equivalent of socks & underpants, namely rigger gloves.....all 4 pairs of them! :rotfl:
What's a 'hangover?'0 -
Ok, ok.....DH is just finishing in our miserable excuse for a bathroom. And then my turn then we're going to do some yoga......I have a feeling that tackling the perfect leftover plate is more on his list than much else and tbh, that pleases me. I cannot imagine rushing out to sales to day.0

There ya' go...a quick bit of teleportation (shades of Startrek or Dr Who) and a decent bathroom is one thing I COULD offer the use of in this half-finished house of mine.
Not quite sure what that says about my set of priorities...but that, at least, is finished and all HUGE tiles and HUGE walk-in shower. Took one workman aback when he turned up at my house a second time and asked to use the loo and wondered if he'd accidentally walked into a different house to the first time he'd been here:rotfl:
This time next year it WILL feel more like Home. That's one of the New Year Resolutions...along with losing weight and learning Welsh.
Been watching permaculture videos on YouTube to encourage myself and thinking "If that British couple can grow 400-500 lbs of produce" in 244 square feet just THINK how much I can grow, as I have a lot more space than them:).
Will be picking my first homegrown veggies this week:) (cheats version....grown-on plug plants...but hey humour me.....I'sa proud o' dat...).:rotfl:0 -
Thanks Davesnave..
Heated propergator ??? haven't got one... BUT I do a normal one, and could use one of reptile heat mats...
But I might have a scout around to what prices they are, or if I can pick one up VERY cheap....
Even though the weather is not good for us doing stuff up the ranch... Might use today to do a bit more sorting/clearing out this house, which is I must admit by any standards is a person with a cleaning habbit/ocd would go into melt down....
I do hoard big time, but its mainly crap... I have old saucepan lids in my cupboards, but the saucepans are well gone....( hides in shame)Work to live= not live to work0 -

Have you got a link to that British couple... sounds interesting..
I am going to try and remember to use utube more .. rather than buying books etc.. especially now that hubby bought us a new laptop for chrimbo, as the 2 we have ,one you can only use in safemode, and this one is my son's, which you can not watch a utube or anything like that, without it freezing up all the time..The laptop will also be used for a certain part of our business too,Work to live= not live to work0 -

Reptile heat mat will work just fine. Spend the money on a thermometer to keep an eye on it. Mine doubles in the winter as a warning for when the pipes might freeze in the garage!0 -

Ah CTC you are not alone :rotfl: Sadly we are all naturally untidy so it is a constant battle to keep the house organised. Much to my parents amusement I am the tidy one in here!
Today is officially our couch daywe sit about in PJ's eating unhealthy foods and watching TV while exploring and enjoying the gifts we were given. Mind you I am the only person awake atm, even the beasts are asleep
It is a lovely clear day today and I almost want to go out for a walk but as I can hardly make it to the kitchen to make a cuppa I think that may be a bit ambitious :rotfl:
Tomorrow I will take down the tree and decs and start to get the house clean, tidy and ready for our new arrivalTaking responsibility one penny at a time!0
