OMG - have any of you watched that Obsessive Compulsive cleaners TV programme? Been watching on 4OD for some mindless TV as a friend recommended it.

Just watched the one where the woman had goats living in her house and opening the kitchen cupboards and jumping up on the worktops :eek::eek: The conservatory had been turned into a 'stable' with straw on the floor and a hay basket hanging from the ceiling. She said that one day she went upstairs and one of the goats was asleep on the bed with its head on the pillow :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Ohh, forgot to ask CTC - did your son download the app so you could try some e-books on his tablet or has he not got round to it yet?

There are a few posters that we have not heard from in a while. I hope that they are just busy living the dream :D If you are reading let us know how you are getting on.

I think we need to get a new mattress :( they seem to be  expensive!

  • Don't worry BD, I'm here :hello:All is well (except DH is suffering from the cold and damp) and the new job's going fine.

    Welcome back Maggie!!! :grouphug:

I have promised myself a brand new Kenwood Chef for Christmas, partly for a present with contributions from family, partly as a treat for getting myself the job, and partly because Lakeland's Customer Service is so absolutely awesome. I bought a Remoska in 2008 and hardly used it - perhaps a dozen times between then and now. They let me send it back and gave me a full refund!

Has anyone got a Chef and if so, which model? I think I know which one I want but I'm always happy to have recommendations.

Grrr...same client who had me running around with fences today wants me to do something on the day I have had booked off all of them to go to London for a month and a half. I expressed that this was going to be tricky as it was a day off and client says....oh, I'll come quarter of an hour before you leave....

Doesn't understand I might want to turn up clean and not stinking of the countryside.

The joys of being your own boss, eh? ;)

Been busy chasing my tail & getting no where - hope everyone is getting on fine.

I seem to get one step forward & about three backwards this year.

It's gone mild thankfully as it was really cold.

Hiya Maggie _ don't like the lack of light at his time of year * we lose it off the caravan at the end of this month & the temp plummets.

Still haven't emptied the trailer with 2nd hand kitchen units in it! OH is getting really bad at walking these days - It's so worrying. I chased him back to the docs & he awaits a hospital visit.

I've got a Chef, but I don't know which model it is as it's now 53 years old, and I still use it 2 - 3 times a week!

Hmmm, second major fire in a month at Llandow.

Smoke is not over us atm, looks to be going over St Athan and Rhoose, pity the poor people downwind, as well as the fire and rescue services.

    Deliberate?
