Oh that stove is beautiful. I'd snap it up any day...Making magic with fabricLight travels faster than sound. This is why some people appear bright until you hear them speak.0

I know the prices on them are a bit erractic.
but on the whole the prices are climbing quite rapidly, well log burners in general.
ok this pic is of the other room, but is very similar to the room where it will go.
obviously the walls in the pic have only been hacked off, just to get the walls breathing again
Tbh, to me that room looks perfect as it is . Beautiful.0 -

Hope you are not too exhausted.
Pooh, I wish we had done it! We had fencers in0 -

the Victorian range is one inch too long for the fireplace:mad::mad::mad::mad:

not to find something very similar an realistically with a with of approx. 30 - 32 inches, so there is a slight gap each side..Work to live= not live to work0 -
Oh no CTC, what a shame.:(:(:(:(:(It is a good idea to be alone in a garden at dawn or dark so that all its shy presences may haunt you and possess you in a reverie of suspended thought.

yes it is a bit pants, but hayho, did ask the stone mason if we could grind the stones to make the gap bigger:D, but I better not reapeat his reply:eek::rotfl:. BUT after that he did say it could be done, but he would have to take out the 'coins' and re-build one edge etc, which would mean big bucks ...
so I am now sitting here drinking a lovely cuppa nibbling away at a fox's raspberry and cream melt biskwit:cool::D:D
EDIT.... this is the last time I listen to hubby when he talks about how big things are in inches.......lolWork to live= not live to work0 -

Such a lot to catch up on, but I have been peeking a bit in the last two days!
First, good news for you on a couple of fronts, Better Days. :jThat's what we want here, so I hope Rummer's wasn't too bad.
I've certainly learned a lot about ME and CFS.(and chicken genetics!) Thinking about how many on this thread have medical problems definitely puts my little aches & pains into perspective! I may not have been posting for the last couple of evenings, but that's been simple tiredness and nothing more. Tucked up in bed, I was!
It's surely a good thing, if a bit manic, having extra work for the next few weeks CTC. I'm sorry the range didn't fit, but that just means there's another cheaper/better one coming along!
Looks like you found your Pete in the end, lir. The boost to spirits when something like that is completed is worth the expense. I still haven't pinned Pete down over our next job, but that's because there are so few gaps in his year. "Well, us'll 'ave t'look at un after harvest " was all he'd say.
Seems Alfie got high today! :A
Finally, welcome SBowden. That's a good ol' Deb'n name!0
