Yes i registered as a non tax payer so i get the full £50 a month interest was just checking i wasnt going to get a knock on the door from the hrmc in the future and that this was fine.

On the second account i was instantly approved for it and when logged into online banking it was sat right there next to my old one.

Yep even had someone transfer some money to it and it was in straight away.

Not got my debit card or anything yet tho. Realised the posts itt were pretty old and read some others and saw that it wasn't possible anymore to have 2 accounts but thought cant hurt to try and it got approved. Will update here if i receive the debit card and don't run into any problems in the next month or so.

It will be interesting to learn whether the anticipated interest is credited.
