I don't know why you have sent Airtricity a query about cash back as it's nothing to do with them.
Absolutely. Airtricity most likely wouldn't even understand the question because it's not them who pay the cashback.
The list of cashback outfits is here http://www.santander-products.co.uk/banking/calculator/cashbacksearch.html

If the merchant is not paying something, even if a trivial amount, then why are there exceptions to the list? eg the coop is not on the energy supplier list and is another one where you don't get cashback
Though I wouldn't expect a call centre operative to have the slightest idea about the subject.
Santander presumably have a reason for excluding them or is it just an oversight?0 -
I thought I read somewhere you can ask a companyt to be added. And they will review it.0

If the merchant is not paying something,
why do you think any merchant is paying anything towards this cashback malarky? I don't know whether they do, but had assumed it is entirely a Santander affair. IMO, there's no way on god's earth that they have agreements with hundreds of retailers about cashback.0 -
My broadband provider was not on the list of providers eligible for DD cashback. So I asked Santander to add them. After much hassle I eventually got through to the right place, and after a few weeks I started getting cashback on that Direct Debit.
I also know for a fact that Santander didn't involve the provider in the process (I later told their MD that I'd got them added to the list...), so they're certainly not paying anything for it.0 -
It just depends whether your the type of person who likes to have 6 accounts to save 2 quid a month or an account you can put £20k in.
Certianly the 123 credit card is far more rewarding. Made £12 last month form normal supermarket and fuel spending. And as I have a 123 current account the £24 annual fee was refunded,0 -
That worried me for a minute as I just set up a direct debit for Co-operative Energy but yes they are on the list.If the merchant is not paying something, even if a trivial amount, then why are there exceptions to the list? eg the coop is not on the energy supplier list and is another one where you don't get cashback0 -

This only applies for the first 12 months.0 -
Hi,
does anyone know if it's possible to pay money/cheques into this account, to make up the required £500, using Santander cash machine?
Thanks.0
