Santander 1 2 3 Account

It just depends whether your the type of person who likes to have 6 accounts to save 2 quid a month or an account you can put £20k in.0

When is the monthly fee (£2) actually charged?
I've had the first month's cashback (exactly as expected) and some interest (about right though I haven't checked it to the penny) - but no fee charged. The T&C imply it's at the same time as the cashback is paid. So have they made a mistake or is it a month in arrears?0 -
But whats the point of spreading cash back across multiple 123 accounts? Just have it all on the first and use other accounts (TSB, BoS, upto 30K) instead of additional 123 accounts that charge an extra £2/month per account.
What is the maximum amount you can put in the TSB/BoS accounts to earn interest? The santander allows up to £20K.0 -
Lloyds 5k for new customers.
Santander fee and interest are on the same day so a bit odd.0 -
For me, the fee is taken the day after the cashback arrives. Interest is usually on same day as fee, but looks like in one month it was on the same day as the cashback.0

I think the cash back is early in the month to cover the bills from the previous month.0

As an unqualified statement, this is simply a wrong statement.
You only do get cashback if you have one or more qualifying DDs.
If you have several 123s, you may run out of qualifying DDs, or, if you keep all your qualifying DDs on one 123, the cashback may not cover the monthly fee for all your 123s.
But what do I know, I have only got three 123s.0 -
It's a week since the cashback/interest (on the 'anniversary' of opening) (is there such a word as monthiversary?) but still no fee.
I'll keep an eye on it next month0 -
apparently there is http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Monthiversaryis there such a word as monthiversary?
If there wasn't, you would have invented a really useful word. Bit of a mouthful though - can you think of anything snappier?0
