If he doesn't want people to put rubbish in the bin then why does he leave it on the pavement, that's just asking for confrontation.

The alternative though is keeping it until you find another bin.

Ahh cmon now, living on the walk to old Trafford?

I bet thats a LOT of cans he gets in his bin, poor s*d!

it's on a side street about 20-25 mins walk away - there aren't many people walking past his house (he's not on the main approach)

On our walk down to old Trafford to watch united, there 's a stuck up old git that will actually tip his wheely bin out and come after you down the road with the can/bottle you put in. As there are no public bins for ages, I don't see what the problem is. It's either bin, pavement or garden.

'THAT'S MY BLOODY BIN, FOR MY RUBBISH'

I came to an amicable solution now though - I won't use his bins, I'll just leave the can on his wall.

I bet he posts on here. If you do, hello. I'll be starting again in August xx

I wouldn't dream of putting my litter in a private person's dustbin. Why don't you take your litter home with you or use a public rubbish bin?

But its not for public use. I'd feel as though I was trespassing.

  • My dh says the same it's disgusting to have the bin emptied every 2wks. But we are supposed to be reducing how much rubbish we are throwing out otherwise there will be landfills everywhere.
Any waste food we blend it up then throw in the toilet and try to reuse plastic bottles for planting seedlings. All clothes to throw out we just take to local charity shops, paint tubs we wash out and then add holes to underside fill with compost and put a plant in it.

If anyone puts a binbag in your bin just chuck it in the street. The council will likely inspect the contents and hopefully they'll have left something identifying in there. A nice fat fine for flytipping should deter them from doing it again.

One you've been given something as a gift it becomes your property.

If you lose it you have to buy a new one.

Someone once put food in my bin, which caused a maggot infestation, the bin men didnt take it, meaning i had to put maggot infested food in my car and take it to the council tip.

Now if anyone puts anything in my bin, I chuck it all over the street, to shame them.
