Picture 1 needs changing....Angle the side alley.. so its in the far distance of the photo...Take boards down for photos..good luckIt is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.0 -
DaiBach, I flew by your house on my broomstick, had a good nosey through the gate , me thinking the garden isn't as big as I looked on the photo, realised I was at the wrong house in the wrong street , ( same EA)
flew to next street , parked in front of your gate , its a nice little street and the park is a bonus , could only see through a crack in your gate but the garden looked a bit dull , anyway from what I could see the house looks ok, a mix of houses, but a bit congested, it took me 20 mins to get out , someone up the road having work done,
if other buyers are same as us we always drive round an area before deciding to view and have to admit Y Bont is a pain at the best of times,
TBH I would leave it at that price for a few weeks but I really do think its overpriced , but not by much
I wish you all the best and hope you get what you are wanting for it, I hate seeing nice property like yours empty and uncared for , it such a shame, looks like it will make a nice family home for someone, in a fabulous area0 -

Haha...you clearly visited the Bont in rush hour?! 20 mins? I'd usually be half way to Cardiff in that time.
Thanks for having a butchers, your feedback is welcome.
When you say a 'mix of houses', are you referring the houses in the area? And 'congested', again the house specifically or the area? Apologies, for not comprehending.
Yeah, the park is awesome if you have kids or pets or both...0 -
yes I meant a mix of houses in the area, stone cottages, semi's ,small , big family homes, which is a good thing,
I don't have children (1 grandchild who lives 200miles away ) or pet but don't want to live in an old peoples home just yet , so like to have people of different ages around, outdoor space is very important to us
when I say "congested" yes it was in your street but I put that down to someone having work done and a van parked blocking the road , not a long standing problem I wouldn't think,
your house looks very nice and I like the area , unfortunately the rooms are too small for us and I HAVE to have a dining kitchen
keep us up to date on your progress , it is early days, property in and around the south wales coast seems to be selling well, I don't think you will have a problem to be honest0 -
Thanks for your input Witchy, appreciated.
Well...got a first viewing booked in at last, fingers crossed it starts the ball rolling.
Watch this space.0 -

Watch this space.
Well the viewing happened as far as I was informed. I wasn't there in case you haven't realised from my opening sentence....
No feedback...the EA can't get hold of the viewer now to retrieve any feed back.
No further interest registered from anybody....not a peep.
Man this is depressing stuff.0 -
it doesn't mean they are not interested , give them time, might be planning a second viewing,
not as depressing as having looked at 6 houses last week and not a one worth putting an offer in , am I being too fussy ?
do keep us up to date on any progress0 -
Still unsold. Reduced the price which seems to have increased the number of viewings but still no offers. Bummer eh?!0
-
Shame it's taking so long it does look like a nice house.Just one thing I noticed on the Zoopla link - why are there no photos of the bedrooms? Loads of the garden which looks really nice, even one from a bedroom window - so the EA clearly knew how to use the stairs, but no bedrooms.0

hi dai, I wondered what had happened to you ,
the market seems to be picking up again so fingers crossed for you .
I really wished we had gone to look at your house , like I said before, the kitchen seemed to small but we have had an offer accepted and are in the process of applying for mortgage , and the kitchen is tiny :rotfl:
do keep us updated
going to now look on zoopla to see how much you reduced by :rotfl:0
