I think that many men have been brought up with their mothers waiting on them and so for them that's normal. Like most people men enjoy being waited on. Why would they change? Some women even thinks it's acceptable as men deserve it as a 'reward' for working.
My comment about 'using her brain' was specific about my DD2. She chooses to wait hand and foot on my SIL and spend her days cleaning, shopping and socialising with friends. I think that's a waste. Others may think she's got it made!
Incidentally, I don't intend my comments to be anti-men. It could apply the other way around but that wasn't OP's question.0 -
