Just had a look at the byelaws posted on Pepipoo I do wonder if they are still valid Liverpool city council owned the Airport then, it was later sold to peel holdings, and has since moved location.
Hopefully they have not been superseded or repealed.
I think that these byelaws can be quoted in all POPLA and court cases.
Liverpool airport have refused to confirm or provide the current byelaws so without any other evidence all cases should be won by the motorist.
If they think these are incorrect and want to cough up the correct byelaws, then that would be good too.Dedicated to driving up standards in parking0 -

Win-win position. Your analysis is the way that Pranky has responded to a comment on the blog questioning the currency of the 'museum piece'.Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. Shouldn't this apply to Luton Airport as well, ACPOA are doing exactly the same thingWhen posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. They DO monitor the forum.
We don't need the following to help you.

Yeah, I saw the quote and requoted ;-)
I agree. Win-win.
There is presumably a reason Liverpool airport is not releasing the byelaws, and this will eventually be revealed.Dedicated to driving up standards in parking0 -

My (albeit limited) knowledge of these matters suggests that the byelaws would have been updated when the airport passed out of public ownership (by either the legislation enabling the transfer or by a Statutory Instrument) - changing names but still keeping the nuts and bolts of offences etc as before.
In any case, it will be extra orders of popcorn all round when this is raised as an issue in County Court or as a single issue POPLA appeal.0 -
This should be done as a single point of appeal at some stage to popla, but of course it's down to the person involved, and we shouldn't press anyone who is not familiar with the process of the scamWhen posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. There is still one stumbling block which I am trying to clear up, I believe that road is not within the boundary of the Airport.
I have seen a terrible copy of a map of the Airport boundary it is very unclear as the boundary runs along the road. However it looks like the actual airport is bound by a strip of nature reserve along the Mersey to the west, to the north national trust land (Speke hall) and industrial estate. To the south Dungeons Lane to the east Dunlop/Hale road.
Speke hall avenue which is the road in question is the boundary between the airport and the industrial area. The confusion lies in that Peel holdings own some of the airport and most of the industrial land around the area. I have had it confirmed that Peel holdings own that section of Speke hall avenue.0 -
My son has submitted his appeal (as edited by coupon-mad) via the POPLA web site and received an acknowledgement so awaiting reply. Thanks for the help so far:T0
