He seems rather unprofessional. Have you tried taking the issue to the next in command, say his boos. I know in California businesses can fire you for any reason at all, so you might want to start looking around before he does. Although, he might u=just be using his bully form as a way to motivate you. All the same, guy isn't a drill sergeant so you might want to find a way of.0

The person may have no intention to bully you or even understand the consequence of their actions that make you feel bullied.
"Bullying and harassment is behaviour that makes someone feel intimidated or offended"
From the ACAS website.
It's really sad (or even intimidating and offensive?) when people abuse terms like bully/racist/sexist etc with their overly simplistic and usually self-serving view of things.0 -

Deary me...so the person feeling bullied can't just be over sensitive or not good enough to do their actual job?
If I say your post is bullying me does that make you a bully....no of course not.Don't trust a forum for advice. Get proper paid advice. Any advice given should always be checked0 -
Your boss sounds like a pig. The best thing to do with pigs is to turn them into sausages.
If you're neither inclined to report him formally again nor make mince/sausage meat of him then walk away from him at least. Nothing more frustrating when chucking a wobbly than to have someone leave you to erupt on your own.
That being said, you say - in so many words - that he is making you ill. I can't see a way to ameliorate that without taking formal action or leaving.
Good luck.
Do not accept aggression, swearing or threats. You might as well ask the Wizard of Oz to give you a big number as pay a Credit Referencing Agency for a so-called 'credit-score'0 -

Feeling bullied does not necessarily have any basis in a persons ability to do a job.
It would not make me a bully but you could still feel bullied.0 -
It does sound like it, I think you need to make sure you have lots of evidence - times dates witnesses etc, then raise a grievance.0

No but I would suspect alot of the claims of bullying come from when pressure is put on someone to do their job properlyDon't trust a forum for advice. Get proper paid advice. Any advice given should always be checked0 -

In my own personal experience, I always did my job properly, in fact I was promoted twice in a very short space of time.
There are a lot of reasons why people get bullied and there are many forms of bullying, sometimes its much more subtle than in your face screaming.
And sometimes when people are on the outside looking in, if they have never been bullied in the workplace, its hard to put yourself in someone elses place and actually get some understanding of how badly it affects your life. (And Im not saying no one on here has suffered, I bet lots of people have).
Id also like to say that I managed two staff teams over a 3 year period, one of them full of very strong characters who werent the easiest people to work with.
I never resorted to bullying anyone, I had no need to. I can manage people effectively without resorting to bullying behaviour.
If someone feels like they are being bullied, in my view that should be taken seriously enough for HR to do something about it, even if its just a conversation to begin with.0
