Hi everyone, hope you don't mind me jumping on the bandwagon.

I'm 25 and am in Dunstable and have a 7yr old.
I've been single since 2000 when me and kiddies dad split up but have "seen" a couple of blokes since but nowt serious
I've had probs with my sinuses and ears ie dizziness and balance probs since late 2004 so i have'nt had a chance to go out clubbing or really go anywhere to meet someone.I couldnt handle being somewhere on my own like the cinema or something cause i end up running out all hot n bothered and needing something to lean on...not very sexy lol
I'd love to meet someone but i have no idea how i can if i hardly go anywhere
Anyway im all embaressed now so im gonna go dish up dinner.

try http://www.datingforparents.com/ I only sign up on Friday, and seem to have 9 girls "watching" me, and been texting with another already.
I'm a white 38yr old guy, and there seems to be a fare number of ladies on the site. Cant speak about the men there.0 -

just an idea...you could try taking up a new hobby, join a club, gym, etc, that kinda thing - get to meet new people and enjoy a new hobby at the same time. Also makes you feel less desperate than having to rock up to speed dating etc.0

I'd recommend joining a gym. I've been at my local one for a few months now, and whilst I'm happily in a long-term relationship (he goes to the gym with me), there are lots of people to chat to while we're there. A large group decided to get together and do the Race for Life recently (most walked). There are always lots of local sports events, and charity events to get involved with, which would help. However, just going regularly at the same time of day, on the same days each week gives you lots of regular friendly faces, and we're all there with the same aim: to either get fitter/lose weight/or stay mobile! Age ranges in my gym are from late teens to late 70's, so plenty of scope. We're in all shapes and sizes, and there isn't an Arnie Schwarzeneger or Bridget Fonda in sight to make us all cringe either, thankfully! They even have a creche for the pre-school kids, so most of the mums are trying to get their bodies back together it seems.
I live in south Lincs, and travel 10 miles to my gym, but it's definitely worth it.One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing
Be nice to your children, they'll choose your care home0 -
Can anyone suggest where i could meet other single people ? I'm not desperate (yet) but would just like some pleasant adult company from time to time.
I'm happily married (Most of the time!).
However, I do seem to get approached by a lot of single women when wandering round B&Q! Most asking advice on what they need to buy, a couple even asked if I wanted to go round their place help them out! I don't wear orange t-shirts either!
I'm not suggesting you try and find someone who's out shopping for a new toilet or whatever but our local B&Q runs various DIY courses, decorating, gardening etc.
Perhaps worth going to some of them?0
