  • thank you everybody for you kind words, they mean a lot, i am trying to think positively at the moment, it is just very very difficult!

Kitty is having more tests today, the vets have never seen such an ill kitty recover and they did an operation on him on Easter Sunday that's how bad he is :( - i couldn't go and see him yesterday because like you said DFW321 - i was on the verge of tears all day and it would have tipped me over the edge to see him with all his tubes in and his shaved tummy with stitches :( and I didn't want to cry in the vets.

we are just praying he pulls through. Back at work and finding it very tricky to concentrate! so on MSE! :)

hoks - i think i have a countryside mentality!! and I can't wait to leave the city and go back to the rolling fields, a part of me wishes we could leave right now but I have to focus - debts first, freedom second!

Positive Mental Attitude! That is my mantra for today

thank you everyone for popping in xx

  • my tests came back and they weren't serious! :j:j:j:j:j:j

so I have some problems but a lifestyle change and some therapy should sort them out! Got the results over the phone so I'm going to go in and discuss in more detail later this week. Which is superb news! So happy - just need good news from little kitty's vet later on.

    One down, one to go.

  • thank you!!

Saw little kitty last night - tests will come back in the next 24 hours or so to tell us what his diagnosis is so keeping our fingers well and truly crossed, and just visiting him on a daily basis to give him kisses and cuddles.

He has well and truly entered our hearts even though we haven't had him for very long, and thank god, the vet is going to do a direct claim for the insurance as his bill currently stands at nigh on 3 grand :eek::eek::eek:

my one recommendation from all of this is - get pet insurance, please, we would have been put in a terrible situation if we had been unable to afford his bills and this illness came from nowhere :(:(

  • Little kitty died this afternoon. His heart stopped and they tried for 5 minutes to revive him but once it restarted he was in too much pain.

I hope we gave him a good life while we had him. My beautiful baby is gone.

OMG. No. C-R I am so so sorry, Honey. You were so smitten with him and I am sure he knew it. Wishing you love and warmth in your memories of him. I feel so bad for you. :(
