  • Hey Hok3y and WABL and Buffy!

Thank you for dropping in! Sorry I have been away - it has been a really tough few weeks and I have been just floating through most of it. OH still hasn't got a job but his old job gave him his last few weeks pay so that is our safety net - it's all shut down cause of Easter anyway but he's back on it tomorrow.

Hospital - 2 weeks later and still awaiting the results of my tests, which is pretty harsh! Which has just been a cloud hanging over me, not knowing what the outcome is going to be. And now for the past few days little kitty has been desperately ill and we've been visiting him every day in the animal hospital. So all in all, I'm an emotional wreck right now :(

Moneysaving has gone by the wayside, we're just getting through each day as it comes, but hopefully little kitty will pull through and my tests won't be as terrible as has been suggested! So just distracting myself at the moment by tidying and decluttering. And being an emotional wreck trying to hold it all together! haha!!!

Hope everyone else is ok and having a good easter? This is all want to do today ..... :EasterBun

    xx

  • HI CR..try not to worry about the tests, I am sure you will be fine. I work in a hospital and generally speaking if there is anything to worry about you would have heard very quickly afterwards. That's hard when you are worrying about your cat and your OH having no job. Just remember that you are only one person and your OH needs to take responsibility for things as well. Hopefully things will get better for you soon. Take care

Hey C-R, sooooooo good to hear from you! It sounds like you are doing everything you can just to remain sane at the moment. You have a lot on your plate so just do whatever it takes to keep putting one foot in front of the other. It will get better. No matter how tough it is now, it will change at some point. Hubby will get another job, kitty will feel better, YOU will feel better, and then the finances can become a priority again. For now, just do what you need to do to get through each day. Xx

I have all my fingers and toes crossed that the hospital call with some very boring, responsive to antibiotic, results. Any idea on when they will get back to you? Are you feeling any better at least? How is kitty doing? Talk about coming at you from all angles. It will get better, C-R. Honest to goodness. Deep breaths and try to let go of some of the stress because stress can definitely make things worse. Big hugs my crazy, DFW sister!

  • thank you guys!!

I am sure it won't be the worst scenario WABL! (fingers crossed) but the waiting builds my paranoia even if it is something mundane!!!! I'm going to push the doctor tomorrow for results and that at least will lift one worry!

Kitty has been given 24 hours to show an improvement so tomorrow is going to be a stressful day showing a brave face at work!! OH is psyched for the job hunting and has been doing the washing up! and supporting me on everything! Dunno what I'd do without him to tell the truth!

As you say hoks - I've gotta keep my pecker up! At least I have sugar to keep me going :):)

will try and post more often, and keep you updated, thank you for all thinking of me :grouphug:

    xx

I gotta share something funny with you......you know how they say that you should visualise how you want your life to be and it will manifest itself? Well I know you live in a flat in London but every time I hear you talk about hubby or kitty, I envisage you in a country style place - kind of the hobbit meets London......but more hobbit than city!!! And kitty is firmly planted in those images.....so I am choosing to believe that he will be fine and back where he belongs real soon. Xx

  • Oh no big hugs C-R xxx

Our doggy was ill the other week and I was in tears in the waiting room they must have thought I was crazy but i've never seen him look so lifeless :( he pulled through on the drugs they gave hi (and me hand feeding him for days on end) so I hope your kitty does too.

Hok3y I use this technique a lot in my meditations it's definitely a good idea to visualise what you want as often as you can, it keeps motivation up if nothing else! xx
