Oh yes-check out the amount for March! I am making those payments!!!!!
400 to credit card-paid off
800 to credit card-300 left
Regular payments will go out on Monday which should add an extra 280 to the tally and a few more might go out later!!!!!
Going to scrounge another 150 off the OH and put more and try and pay off as much as possible this month!!!!! Whoop!!!!!!!!!
So glad to be back on point! Hopefully last credit card will be paid off within the next month or two and then it's full and finals all the way!!!!
Hope everyone is having a good Saturday? I did lots of tidying yesterday so am enjoying a tidy flat on a Saturday for once!!!!!!
Let the lazing on the sofa continue!!!!

thanks WABL!
feels great to be able to write these numbers down again!
Hopefully tomorrow we'll see some more added when the direct debits go out
my big aim for this week is to try and have 7 NSDs in a row and to do a shop on Saturday to stay on track - can i get through this month only doing a single shop each Saturday or Sunday? well - let's hope so!!!!
wish me luck!

OK!
this months payments have been made and I hit my target of 1,500 pounds repaid! yay!!!! Just got to meet or go over the target every month for the next 5 months!!!
I'm also going to be working hard hoping we have some left-over money I can add to bump that up slightly during the course of the month!
NSD number 3 of 3 so far and no plans to buy anything else right now. Did have a sugar craving this evening but remembered my jar of nutella in the pantry cupboard! Get yourselves a spoon ladies and gentlemen! nom nom!!!
i'm always lazy on a Monday so its fish fillets with chips and peas for supper with lashings of ketchup. I was going to do a quick batter of egg and flour but i'm too lazy even to do that so they're going straight in the over with some lemon juice and olive oil!! Wrapped in foil to save on washing up!!!!
Right - got to get started before it gets too late!!
Hope everyone had a good Monday?

OK - so a catch-up on how this week has gone!
Spending days this week - 2!!! :j:j:j:j
Today for the Sainsbobs shop and Wednesday for OH's tobacco (and maybe some choc for me) and the wahanda voucher for my hair booked in for next week (finally!)
Debts - still going good, hopefully we'll have some money from our minimal spends to add some more next week once final payments have gone out.
Food - saved ourselves from a ridiculous takeaway last night of 40 quids worth of food :eek: (the name of the place is deliver- with an 'ance' on the end!!) which would have been cold and unsatisfying and cooked a lovely tuna pasta bake with frozen veg on the side, and did some quorn bol earlier in the week and some stir-frys with the left-overs from the roast chicken.
Today - woke up at 11am! wow! But have done all the tidying (except the living room 'pit' which OH has occupied all day ) did 3 loads of washing - now up to date! did a half-defrost of the freezer by rising the drawers with boiling water to get rid of the ice on the bottoms and have made x3 different dishes with the sainsbobs organic mince for the freezer (cheaper as on offer than buying their other types)
a giant bol (more veg than mince) - which will be portioned into some lasagnes and some bol portions for spag bol/cottage pie
a tasty stuffed pepper soup which we had before and we both loved (http://www.skinnytaste.com/2011/12/stuffed-pepper-soup.html) - just won't cook/add the rice until we actually eat it.
x4 mini beef burgers which i grated the onion for so there was no lumps! just mince, dash of Worcester sauce, an egg, onion and salt and pepper.
Yay! Feeling a bit smug as you might have noticed!:o
Tomorrow - I can relax, make some banana cake things with some going-off bananas and also use some old apples to add to a large red cabbage mix also to freeze and then a chicken roast for dinner.
So all in all - within budget so far, keeping a tight leash on the spending and actually enjoying being back in the race to debt-freedom with greater determination than before!!!
Can't wait for the 31st when I can chuck another load of dosh at those debts!!!! :rotfl:
Hope everyone is have a super saturday?

thanks WABL!!!!!!
hope you're ok?
sometimes think it's just you me and Hok3y and DFW321 in this board!!! haha! but its really great to have you along! :grouphug:
hehe - we get MaccyD cravings every now and again so hoping these burgers stop the cravings! I hope they'll be nice - I checked out some recipes on pinterest and all the american recipes add worcester sauce so I thought - give it a go!!we'll have to wait and see!!!
well - i forgot to mention a funny thing today - all my tea towels have turned YELLOW!! I washed all my 'rags' in a wash - cat blanket, tea towels and dusting cloths and the dusting cloths turned everything else yellow! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: and there was me worrying everything would be turned pink from the cat blanket!!!!:D
oh well!!!! Next time I do a tea towel wash I'll just soak them in some soda crystals first - it stripped the red out of them last time!!!!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
OH is wandering round trying to find something to eat!!!!! I think he doesn't have a stomach he has a black hole in his belly that just sends food off to another dimension!!!!!!!:eek::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Just a quick morning catch-up - OH is still asleep!:j:j
which means i have been able to tidy up his pit of a living room or more realistically - the sofa and coffee tablenow sitting here with a 'posh' cafetiere coffee topping up my totals in my spreadsheet and checking balances, next to portion up the freezer food now its had time to cool down!
little cat is having a bit of a run-around after a cuddle and I've got the window open - i can just feel the goodness of having a bit of sunshine! you can really smell spring in the air and its just lifting my spirits!!!!
juts thinking of when we can escape from the big smoke and have our own space with a garden and how i could spend my time this morning walking out in the sunshine in our own back yard! well - if that's not motivation to keep on track nothing is!!!
hope everyone is enjoying Sunday?

OK - F&F letters have been drafted and will be posted tomorrow - one for the DCA who suggested i should pay them greater than the outstanding sum (yep - my letter is not as kind as before) and the second to sainsbobs/RBS who have offered an option of reduced payments (but only if referred via a debt management company) or - they add at the bottom of the letter - if the offer is 75% of the outstanding amount so I have sucked it down and drafted a letter for 75% - it is just manageable with our regular repayment amounts so fingers crossed they accept it!!
Will post them both recorded delivery tomorrow.
Phew! It's a long hard struggle!!!
Hope everyone is ok?
