6 grand in 6 months - my personal challenge!

It is not self-pity, you are feeling grief and loss and probably other emotions too at the loss of a young and much loved furry family member. In a while you may perhaps take a little comfort from the fact that everyone tried so very hard to save him. You will know when the time is right if you decide to give a loving home to another puss cat, there are so many needing a safe and caring home. Hugs.

the vets did try everything for him, I just wish they ad been able to save him. I'm going to tidy the house today as we've let it become a tip over the past few days, i just keep seeing parts of him everywhere - his litter box, all his food in the cupboard, even his toys etc.

i'm going to try and make today a NSD but really i just want this whole month to be over so i can find focus whether thats through debt-busting or whatever. I've just lost all drive at the moment.

OH has an interview at 11 for a job - i don't think he'll go to it.

haha! we managed about half a bottle last night! might drink the rest today!!!

just sitting here staring at the computer, can't get up the energy to clean and haven't even turned the tv on (very weird for me). i wrote him a letter though, to tell him how much i love him and miss him. stupid I know but i didnt know what else to do.

Thank you hoks! We finished the vodka!!!

We are a bit better, less raw, actually didn't cry for a few hours! (Me, not him!!!) We have been talking about getting another kitty as soon as possible, it won't be him we know and we can never replace him but hopefully new kitty will fill an emptiness in our hearts right now.

And maybe next week we can jump back on the debt-free bandwagon and OH will get a new job!

Will get paid at the end of the month, and maybe pay off another F&F, we got an offer, only 300 off but better than a kick in the teeth!!

Feels weird to just carry on even though he's gone but I've done it before and I'll just have to do it again and pray wherever he is he is happy and safe and healthy

we have found a kitty looking for a new home and will be going to see him this evening to see if we bond. I hope we're not making the wrong choice but I can't bear the empytyness.

It will be an unexpected expense, as we left the old cat carrier at the vets as we couldn't go back so will have to pay out for a new one! doh!!

Its ridiculous, you go on gumtree and there are literally hundreds of kittens and they're all going for around 100 pounds each and you have to wonder - who is buying all of these poor little guys and girls?

We have found an older cat again like our now-gone little kitty, today will be a tidying day to get the flat ready for our second mini adventure!

Keep your fingers crossed! If we don't bond when i meet him, i won't get him. I know the meaning of a knee-jerk reaction!!!

just noticed the OH has changed the picture on his phone - it used to be little kitty but not anymore, for some reason that upset me more than anything!! guess im not over it as much as i thought i was!

Seeing the pic on his phone was probably upsetting for him too, bet he has it saved so he can look at it again once the rawness of your loss is less. X
