haha! HOK3Y! you cheeky thing!!!!
Thank you!! I am getting back on track so in that sense it has been a good day! OH has made me a cake (currently in the oven - its a packet mix one but I won't begrudge him for cooking it and he is going to decorate it for me too!!!)
i think kitty is settling in ok, less time behind the sofa, and more time on our laps! In fact, OH slept on the sofa last night as he said there was no space for him with me and kitty on the bed! hahaha!! Shed a few tears for gone kitty this morning but we are much stronger than we were.
thank you!

Just browsing the forums and saw your posts about your OH job situation. Well done to him.
Really great to hear someone's successes. My OH is the same, he has had numerous job changes for various reasons and has taken some short term contracts (some not very nice I must say) but has never had a gap and which have led to him finding a job where he is really happy.
I'm in a quandary with mine but am keeping going. Eventually it will come good I'm sure.OSWL (start 13st) by 30Jun20 6/10

aaaaaaaaaannnnnnnnnndddddddddddddddd..... here i am with my first check-in of the Month of May; feeling a bit better this weekend although it means every now and again I feel guilty for feeling ok
but i suppose no one gets over that guilt.
Neighbours are moving out today so it is very noisy  and upsetting the little kitty but hopefully that will mean the end to incessant stomping and ridiculous singing and being able to hear them when they have their first 'ablution' of the day!!!!!:eek::eek:
I did some internet shopping last night - don't worry! It was just food! and some tights for me and a dustpan and brush!! some things you need for ages but they're always too expensive when you see them walking out and about.
Got to pay gas and OH's car tax this month so that will be 400 quid between them,:eek: we've hardly used any gas recently so going to check the meter reading later (we normally can't get to the meters) and then send an update to B.Gas and hopefully the next one will be tiny!!
Am alone until Sunday night (late) so once i get the shopping in, its all about sorting it out and prepping some meals for this month for the freezer.
Just dropped on the floor and started sniffing the carpet to see if i could smell cat wee somewhere but realised its his tuna food!!!!
haha!!!!!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: I hope?!!!!
OH will get his wages every 2 weeks I think from this new job so once he get paid I can do the F&F offer. That will be the last default settled on my credit file and then just 1 credit card left with a 2000 amount left on it! Whoop!!!!!!!!!! :j:j:j
Then we can focus on OH's numbers! eek! Might just be able to scrape us into the 10k this month - its been long enough coming! And I CANNOT wait!
Hope everyone is having a wonderful Bank holiday weekend?

hey supersaver1000!!
welcome to my little corner!
unfortunately my OH does have gaps!!!!:eek: but usually no more than a few weeks although this has pushed back out debt-free day a few times he does get back on the wagon and usually manages to up his wages a bit each time to make up for it!!!
Jobs r so tricky - i love mine but i hate being at work, if you see what I mean, I would love to do it if they allowed me to work from home most days (internet-based so sitting in an office not necessary!). Once we are debt-free I don't want work to be my life!
I hope you work out a solution for yours? I have seen with OH how he has gotten so down with some of the jobs he has had and it is very unfair
