In what sense is that steep? Have they increased the price every year in addition to this bump? Have none of the elements had price cuts? 10% is about the CPI increase since 2010.
I might be wrong but didn't they increase prices by 5% last Sept?'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. A single market without barriers visible or invisible giving you direct and unhindered access to the purchasing power of over 300 million of the worlds wealthiest and most prosperous people' Margaret Thatcher0 -

Done that plenty of times myself!0 -
That's about Sky Broadband of course, not the imminent price increase for TV services.yangptangkipperbang wrote: »0 -

I can't link to it since it's a secure page you need to log onto. However, log into "My Sky" and read the disclaimer headed "here's the legal bit"Lifes_Grand_Plan wrote: »Can't see anything about this when I log in to my Sky account. Which bit are you looking on OP?
As per the (partial) thread title, it reads
"Sky TV price will increase on 1 September 2013 by up to 10% in accordance with our standard terms."
It's being discussed in numerous other places if you have cause to doubt me...0 -
I don't have Sports or Movies but will be downgrading my package I reckon.
Might well drop the HD element too.0 -

will no doubt see a mass exit from sky come sept, as most/some will just leave regardless of what % is, any price increase allows you to leave penalty free, same as phone line when they hiked that, as i was one who left to go elsewhere.0

You mean any price increase which exceeds 10% don't you? Sky aren't stupid, they know not to increase prices enough to allow customers to escape paying an early exit fee.NittyGritty wrote: »any price increase allows you to leave penalty free0
