My sis is coming for her tea tonight so I popped to Mr M's for a few bits. Total spend today: £5.76. That will make tea for the three of us plus two meals to be frozen. Also, that included a pack of spaghetti and we won't use it all so some for the cupboard too.
Still within budget for this week: £2.53 left. New week (last week of August challenge for me) starts tomorrowMortgage at 12/07/2022 = £175,000

Well I got paid today so I can declare my month at £299.73/£300 which although only 27p under budget, is actually in real terms more because I had dropped my budget from £332, so quite pleased with that. Now I just need to keep in the right direction.......I'm not a failure if I don't make it, I'm a success because I :tried!0

Spend of £3.86 today.
I am having DGD here for a baking day on Friday. Depending on what she has put on her - want to cook list - I may have to spend.
So far DGD wants to bake a Victoria Sandwich, Coconut Pyramids + Biscuits. She also wants to learn how to make pastry and bake a pie. Going to be a busy day.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45

I dont like black pudding either, used to but cant seem to find one I like now.
But this is great with cooking bacon, gammon bits or just the odd rasher and a left over sausage with onion, mushroom or what ever you have, Years ago it used to be called suprise batter pudding and you would use whatever leftovers you had.Slimming World at target0 -

NSD number 11 but there is a possibility that tomorrow we are going to the Chinese warehouse and if so will certainly spend something. One part of me doesn't want to go but the other does
Not been for ages.
Been busy today and made some bread and two quiches. One cheese, tomato and onion and the other cheese, onion & bacon. We had some of the tomato one today with salad and will finish it off tomorrow for lunch.
Left them in a little bit too long really but never mind. Second one has been put in the freezer for another day.
I am not the best pastry chef in the world (have tried loads of different ways) it tastes lovely and short but to me is actually too short.
Not a fan of black pudding either although DH and DS love it. I can eat a small piece but that's it. the surprise pudding sounds nice.MARCH £62.38/2500 -
