  • Spent another £11.50 at tesco last night, but still coming in under budget at £92 so far. Will update signature shortly. Am quite pleased at how well it's going so far this month. :jJust a quick query, were off on holiday for a week next month. Do I include all food bought during that week (we're self catering but will definitely have a couple of takeaways and roast carvery Sunday!) I'm planning on buying a lot of it online and bringing it with me, non perishables loo rolls etc to stop too much overspending. If so I may have to up my budget a fair bit!! All treats will also be bought out of holiday spending fund not septembers household budget so how do I work it out? Sorry for the long post but its my first time on the GC this month so still not sure of all the rules etc.
    thanks. :-)
:j Good things come to those who coupon. :j

Spent a total of £21.59 yesterday, so now spent £156.21/£250. Rather more than intended but probably because DH was with me and always seem to spend more then. Anyone else have that problem?

    I've been Money Tipped!
Spent £26.84 in Mr M yesterday. Food budgets gone right down now so will have to do my best to stretch next week. Stocked up on quite a bit though so hopefully will be achievable. Having a NSD today and hoping for one tomorrow too.

Well back on after a busy week of no kids !!
Boys have been at camp so I haven't spent anything on them (apart from school uniform spends) but I have had to get a couple of bits for myself ... I've still got loads left from my it shop earlier this month so I think I shouldn't need to spend much more this month (hopefully ;))
    Will update sig now x

Spend of £1 today for milk. I am making a Yorkshire batter so didn't want to chance running out. I need my cup of tea in the morning.
Had a very low week of spends.

  • £21.92 in Mr A on Friday, glad it was a low spend one as the previous 2 weeks were a lot! Then 39p in Aldi today on a bag of carrots. Last day of having a kitchen here so batch cooking some shepherds pie and did some chicken dishes for the freezer yesterday. I also have 2 eggs and some bruised apples to use up so going to try the apple muffins from the recipe index - spends for the next two weeks should be minimal as we will have no kitchen and lots of batch cooked food ready in the freezer, only extravagance might be a chippy tea but at less than £5 for both of us not too bad!
