Spongy bits, don't know, never had them before. As for the turning we have to do ours weekly for the first 6 months, can tell if I don't as it goes a funny shape :o

If they are material like just little balls of the material which has come up like the bobbling on a jumper ? Then that's normal I think after time. My old one had these until I gave it a shave with an electric razor :rotfl:
One day I might be more organised...........

    Evening Fly people,

Had a great wedding, fab dress- from the chopped up store card shop, paying cash felt odd! My early shopping trip was bliss yesterday, I had some of the shops to myself. The hair cut wasn't as drastic as I thought (I think she smelled my fear) and I scrubbed up well. One of my colleagues was rip roaring drunk and told me she didn't like me very much, which was nice of her and my friend I gave a lift home to this morning was sick in a carrier while we queued at the toll for the Tyne Tunnel. Hey ho. Oh and no single men at the wedding but I danced my feet off!

Back to a reality I prefer.. I'm looking forward to getting a grip on things again this week but too tired to do much except lists tonight.

Just to echo what so many of you have said on here - you're all such lovely people. The support and advice you give, outside of Flying too, is just great. Seems like we all have our personal issues and woes and ways of coping.. struggling to put into words what I'm thinking. Suffice to say you're all fab!

I may or may not do any tidying up tonight. Still a little weary (ie hungover) and waiting for my favourite comfort food to be ready.. cheesy beany mash. Mmmm. When did you last have that?

Well done to all of you who've had busy weekends, sending lovely thoughts and hugs to those who need them too.

I'm making cheesy mash now (serving with beans and sausages) how bizarre!! How do you make yours ?

Oh and pleased to hear the wedding went well, sounds like an 'interesting' evening, well done for the paying cash, weird but a good feeling ;)

Oh no _ these were definitely of a biological nature.... I think they must have been some kind of mould - the house is rife with it, particularly our north-facing, three-outside wall bedroom which has probably not seen a damp-proof course in the last 200 years (we rent, so live in blissful ignorance about the structural state!).
On that note I am going to switch to the cleaner, mould-free and much more optimistic next week thread....
Thank you to EVERYONE for your support, and not telling me you hate me, and for just being out there and lovely.... I just wish I'd known you when I was pregnant!

How weird indeed! Mash the cooked spuds with LOTS of grated cheese and put it in the oven with a can of beans emptied into a hollow of mash. heat until the beany bit is hot and/ or starts drying up and goes sticky. A very precise recipe there! Is yours different?

'Interesting' describes it well. I wonder if tomorrow she'll remember any of the things she said to me. One of those conversations that you replay over and over to see if I invited it. Rise above...

Happyathome, they sound like those fluffy balls you ( I mean me here) get in the corners of window frames and doors outside. I'm hoping they aren't though 'cos it might freak you out. (say it quietly.. spider nests)

You could post a pic and we could all have a guess?!

  • OMG....
I am now well and truly freaked out.
They no longer exist - they have been vaccuumed, vinegared and steamed out of existence.
Turn over to the new thread - PLEASE. This is all dirty and tainted and really not very nice.

My cheesy mash is usually mash, mixed with grated cheese and onions which have been fried in a teensy amount of oil, topped with cheese and baked in the oven. Never thought of adding beans before it goes in the oven, might just try that

Anyway off to the new thread (ps eucalyptus oils good on mould and mildew_
