Partners Cat is Mental

I pity your poor cuckolded partner, having to play second fiddle to a cat. Some of us men actually have a pair.
That particular cat sleeps curled up round my OH's head at night, like earwarmers. My OH absolutely adores this, he say it proves the cat loves him more than it loves me. Lies, all lies, the cat knows perfectly well who goes to the supermarket for the cat food.
As to "having a pair" it's hardly an indicator of any sort of masculinity to decide to make your GF kill her pet just because you dislike it. Quite the opposite, I would suspect.Val.0 -

In cases like this, you have to think, What Would James Bond Do? In other words, a real man!
You do know that James Bond is a fictional character, and not a real man at all, right?

Horizon81 have you contacted the poster(s?) offering a home for the cat?0

I seriously doubt he will, it's too much fun trolling on here .0 -
There was only 1 potential offer wasn't there? And that was way too far away from me. Not worth wasting the petrol on! (Sorry - I'm playing into your hands now). Obviously from a practical point of view, it would make sense for us to pursue local cats homes as much as possible, although each one says the same - that they're all full and the poor moggy is an unfavourable colour and obviously the biting puts them off and drastically reduces his chances of re-homing.0

So for the sake of not wasting petrol - you rather dump the cat in a rescue where he will have no chance of being adopted then drive it to someone who could take him in and care for him properly?0

You're 100% right. Petrol is £1.39 a litre my way. How much did the cat cost in the first place? It cost over a ton in vets bills recently for some pills. Imagine you're on The Apprentice and Alan Sugar is talking about the balance sheet and financial viability. Sometimes you have to cut your losses.
Joking aside, I'm sure the offer on here to take it was a wind up. Much better to try and find a local ish rescue centre.0
