Hi. Today recieved letter stating appeal not successful due to insufficient evidence that the t&c on the signage were broken. POPLA appeal form attached with code with a "why are you appealing" then gave to tick one of four options "the vechile was not improperly parked" "the vechile was stolen" "the parking charge exceeded the appropriate amount" and "I am not liable for the parking charge" any help be great. Cheers

Ok, there are a number of standard points you need to incorporate in a POPLA defence. Have a look at this thread - all the way through and contributions from c-, https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4642413

    And post #25 here https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4688485
Also have a read of the sticky POPLA Decisions and see what successful claimants put in their appeals.

Lastly, be careful if you post a long defence via POPLA's online system. It seems that it has a maximum amount of characters/words it will accept and truncates any long ones. Adjudicator then only uses what data she/has and one person has lost probably because of this.

So, I would send a long appeal via surface mail as well.

And no there can be no single template, every case is different. Read other threads and find POPLA appeals you like and adapt them to suit your case. There are examples on loads and loads of threads.

Start reading threads on page one.

    Then page two.

    Find POPLA appeals.

Copy them into a draft long letter. We won't/can't write it for you I am afraid and there are soooooooo many examples on the first few pages here.

After 88 posts trying to help, on the 89th you are thinking of paying.

Just what is so difficult that you want to give in? I am not going to have a go or belittle you. It's your life, money and decision.

I don't think there is anything that anyone can reasonably add to what has gone before and, as it is still your life, you must do as you think fit.

It's just a shame that all the efforts that others have gone to in order to help you keep your cash has been wasted.
