I love the last dress, Lara :D I'm sure a head piece will dress the navy one up perfectly. It really is wedding season isn't it?!

Been looking at things to ebay, and decided to check out what my one collectible is worth. My last Blythe doll! I sold most of them when we were moving out, but kept my favourite. OH bought her for me for £90 when she was new and now she's worth £250  On one hand I'm thinking, that's over 2 months off the sofa but on the other I'm like.. that's my last doll! Even though she's boxed up and not on display.. :(

Aww you should keep it Cinny. The sofa money will come along, and it's nice to have some things to enjoy, especially if you have sold the others.

I'd keep her too, the sofa is getting paid off without a struggle and you're not on the breadline; like Lara says, it's nice to have some things to enjoy. :)

Just been ripped off royally, got an ice cream on my way back to work and asked a little cup. The woman put one measly little scoop in and charged me £1.50! I was so shocked I just paid and left (whilst OH stood outside wetting himself!) with my tiny blob of ice cream. I made it last though! :o

Lovely dresses Lara, I really like the navy one especially the hem. Headpieces are definitely the way forward!

I have to admit I'd probably sell the doll Cinny but I'm not that sentimental. I have a big yellow teapot toy that my mum bought and as much as I love it, I would sell it now if I didn't think she'd be hurt. Don't get me wrong, im not ungrateful when it comes to presents, i just don't feel like i have to keep everything forever. I have a phobia of clutter which is weird when you consider how much craft stuff I have!

Having said that one of my friends showed me all the letters I'd sent her when we were at school together and it did make me a bit sad (and mean) because I hadn't kept anything!

I think it's so difficult to get the balance between keeping some things for sentiment's sake and just having clutter. I do wish that I'd kept more stuff from school though, and some of my favourite toys that would cost a fortune to replace now as they're 'collectables'. :o If only space was never an issue, eh?! At least I did keep my Playmobil house and everything that went in it, it's all boxed up in my parent's garage and I really can't wait to get it out if/when we have a little girl.:)

Hope your 2 days at work went OK Dinah and you enjoy your break with your parents. :)

In money news, I have a whole £22.50 in my bank to last until the 20th. :( Been having to buy bigger clothes and it's wiped me out. OH has been getting really anxious again (this happens every so often, he gets a little cabin feverish in our teeny flat and he needs to get away for a couple of days when it happens) but I can't afford to go anywhere this weekend or next and feel bad about it, wish I could have a couple of months pre-warning of this happening so I could save up! Can't even dip into the joint account for a 'loan' as it's not looking as healthy as we'd like and we need all we can get for the holiday. Le sigh. Off to my parent's tonight and I hope my Mum takes pity on me and offers to buy me the new bras I need but can't afford! :o

Bank account isn't looking too healthy here either Birdie :( We have had lots of little bits and pieces to buy for the new house and it has all added up quite a bit. Payday for OH next week thank god.
Sent off my maternity allowance forms last week so hoping that all comes back ok in time for me finishing work, otherwise I really will be panicking then!

My bank is looking sad too, we're all in this together! I think I have like, £1.02 until Friday _pale_ Waiting for work to get quiet so I can work on next weeks budget. I'm hoping this week is the 4 weekly pay where I get paid a tiny bit extra. ETA: I lied! I have £1.37!!

Isn't there anything going on locally you could do, Birdie? Just to get your OH out for a little while. OH gets just the same, I think it's the main reason we ended up in at Ladybower on Sunday.

Hope the paper work goes smoothly for you, Flower :) It's annoying how the little bits add up. Are you feeling properly moved in now?

ETA: Forgot to say! I'm not normally sentimental with things, OH hates how easily I get rid of things :o I only have 4 things I'd struggle to part with. Funnily, 2 are jewelry and I never wear any of it!

    Morning everyone,

Had an amazing wedding/honeymoon. Back at work today which is a bit strange getting back into it all.

Dinah - hope work went ok!

Shrimpy - hope all the wedding stuff is going ok, all the stress is worth it!

Sorry to hear about the lackage of money everyone. I did all my money working out yesterday after two weeks and isn't too bad. we were very lucky with money towards honeymoon but still have some to pay off credit card.

We have that yellow teapot Shrimpy :). My mum and dad kept loads of mine and my sisters old toys and Poppy has been playing with the duplo and our old dolls etc.
