Aww hope you have a lovely wedding Shrimpy!

My weekend wedding trip to see my cousin getting married was a washout. I succumbed to gastroenteritis and ended up spending the whole day super ill in the hotel room. It never rains but it pours, lately.

Big hugs for you Lara, hope you're feeling better today. What a shame you missed the wedding! :(

Hope that you had a lovely day Shrimpy, some gorgeous pics are popping up on FB! :)

Hope everyone else had a good weekend. It was far too quick for me but I blame that on having a very lazy Sunday. On Saturday I went shopping with my Mum (who treated me to lots of new clothes... love my Mum!) and we dropped OH off with a friend because they were going to have lunch and a couple of beers whilst Mum and I were shopping... rang him when we were ready to leave and he said he'd get the bus home then at 6 o'clock he told me he was staying at his friend's house that night so I had an unexpected, but quite enjoyable, night alone! :) Had a great sleep spread out in the middle of the bed! :)

The friend saga continues... turns out they've both cheated on each other! Well, her's is a grey area as it's a bit of a Ross & Rachel 'we were on a break' argument as she waited a whole 6 days after he said things were so bad they should split... but I'm still appalled at the pair of them. I'm not supposed to know any of this so at least I won't be getting drunk and getting a bit loose lipped around them on holiday... but I have no idea how I'm supposed to support them getting back together when they clearly have so little respect for each other! Wish the pair of them would just sell the holiday to another couple who are actually happy and nice together rather than us being stuck with them for 2 super awkward weeks! :p

Lazy Sunday sounds amazing Birdie, as does your Mum bless her!

Eek about the friends. I would definately stay out of that one. Not good for you when you are meant to be going on holiday with them.

Hope you had a great day too, Shrimpy. You looked absolutely stunning!

Sorry you missed the wedding though Lara, sending lots of hugs xx

The friend saga doesn't get any better, does it? I'd just tell them where to shove it. It's your last holiday where you're not having to worry about things for a baby, you need to enjoy yourself. I'm too hangry to think of a polite way to solve the problem :o

The hotel is goooorgeous mind, I'll come as long as I can steal the ticket and not pay for it! :D And I think it's about time you finally sucked it up and started reading A Song of Ice and Fire ;)

Hope you had a great day Shrimpy, will have an oggle at your pics later.

Back at work went okay, not much to do yet but it's not horrific. Will be better once I'm busy again. Had a lovely 5 days in Northumberland to get over it though, tomorrow is my first day off and at home in what feels like forever, be good to catch up with some tidying, bill paying etc, just feel a bit more on top of things.

Nice to see you again :). I found it quite hard to get back into work/get things to do but soon picked up.

Hope you manage to catch up with some life admin.

Glad work's going OK Dinah. :) Nice to hear that you had a good time in Northumberland last week too. We're off up to Alnwick for a night on Saturday, can't wait! Just hope the weather is good. :)

Wendz, I think you need to update your siggy! ;)

I'm super tired today, didn't really sleep much as I couldn't get comfy, and when I did nod off I had crazy dreams (I crashed into not 1, but 2 Specsavers shops in one of them, and in the other I got a letter from TGI Friday's saying they were onto me for stealing a cake from someone else's table and the police were investigating! :rotfl:). I blame the little person inside me, I could just tell (even if I couldn't feel it much- hard to explain!) that s/he was going mental all night! :o There'll be stern words if I can't sleep tonight!

    How's everyone else doing? :)

I used to tell baby kavics in my womb that she really wanted me to sleep all night as a grumpy mummy is no fun. It worked, she has been so easy at night time, sleeps from 7 till 7.
