Will catch up today later, just a quick one, I found a really crazy reduced ebay shop for branded clothing. Have kids, womens and mens, but I thought the maternity might be of use to a lot of people atm - new maternity wear for £3-£6 instead of the £25-£40 in the shops seems like it deserves a swirly martin :money:Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Right how about a mini weekend challenge? This weekend anyone who wants to will do a brutal wardrobe cull and post the photos of the stash that's going to ebay/charity/best friend.
Happy insides = happy outsides.
Absolute YES to both of those - simple philosophies that make sense! My July challenge might be a bit of a mixture; maintain exercise 3 times a week, lose 4 lbs and cook one brand new meal from scratch every week. Might not be overly ambitious, but will feel good when I nail itTete_en_l'Air wrote: »More cardigans than common sense! That's the best slogan ever, I'm going to make a t-shirt...
Make it into a cardi. Obviously. One of my friends embroidered "if you can read this you're too close" on the back of a grey cardi - it's very cuteCinny - we will be trying for another bambino after honeymoon.
Exciting news is we have booked a LED dancefloor for the wedding. Not very MSE but we did get a good deal on it.
Aw that's nice Wendz! And super cool about the dance floor - I bet the big kids will enjoy it as much as Poppy and the other children :TLBM Sep 2008 debt: £27,927.04start weight: 140.2, week 2: 1380 -
Hi everyone, have been reading but not having time to post, sorry!
Huge congratulations Lara! Super exciting news :T
I basically need to lose a stone in July so am definitely up for this as I Just Didn't Do It in June (ho ho). I've always been a bit of a last minute Lucy and work better under pressure! (Sorry Tete). I had a very severe wardrobe cull in dejunk January and barely have any clothes left so I have nothing left to cull I don't think - I have the opposite problem of genuinely not having enough clothes!
I love more cardigans than common sense! I'm seriously considering getting a cute one for my wedding day after seeing a blog post which made them look really cool. Of course they were all models and therefore totally Pulling Them Off, whereas I will look like a frosted cupcake, but at least I won't be chilly!
Wendz - OH's cousins wedding had an LED dance floor and it was totally awesome! Are you excited? Its so close now! Have you got much to do still? I have loads

Right-ho, work wear is actually pretty darn dull but look what I came across in my browsings! Looky!

Very, very busy day. 21 designs on a 1 day rush for dad, so mum took Grace out for 4 hours so I could crack on, but I'm still only just finishing now at after 10pm.
Also we spent all morning at the hospital, Grace had an eye appointment. Turns out her lazy eye means she's severely long sighted and she needs glasses. I can't honestly see this working, she has a complete and utter phobia of anything on her face, she freaks out over sunglasses and won't wear hats. The opthamologist was at best a little odd and in reality was a complete loon (the nicu nurses had warned me he's very strange but I'd never met him until today) and when I said I thought I'd struggle to get her to wear them he told me it was my job as a mum to force her to. When I asked if he had any ideas of how to convince (not force!) a 1 year old to do something he told me to withhold food until she stops taking them off, and when I was horrified by that he suggested that I should tie her arms behind her back so she physically couldn't reach them. And no, he wasn't joking - the nurse came after me in the corridor to explain he doesn't have kids and he doesn't always see things as parents do. No kidding - he's suggesting treating my child like one of those poor souls who are kidnapped and grow up in a windowless basement! Worst part is its a 10 year treatment and the there is only a 50-50 chance of it working so she might need surgery anyway. So I'm going for a second opinion, see if we can use patches or if we'd be better just going for the laser surgery now and not having the drama of trying to get a toddler with a sensory issue around her face into glasses.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

OMG you should definately turn up to your first day of teaching in that. Preferably with a dry ice machine squirting out your handbag.

He sounds completely bonkers! I always wondered how people got their toddlers to wear glasses. I know both of mine would fling them off at every available opportunity!Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

I feel really shallow but I was so dissapointed, all I could think was that they'd hide her beautiful face and we were going to spend the next year in a constant tug of war trying to get them on her.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Aw - I think glasses look really cute on toddlers. I really do! My brother had glasses at about 3 yrs old and he was so cute, but I can understand how you would prefer if she didn't need them at all.Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

Time for a second opinion I think on this one Dinah, more for sanity sake0

Aww bless Grace! I think glasses on toddlers are cute too but see where you're coming from.
My friend was born with a lazy eye and had an operation when she was about 4 and wore an eye patch for ages and had a new sticker on it every day, I thought it was so cool!
Sounds like the opthamologist is a nutter though! Definitely get a second opinion as they need to take her sensory issues into account, surely?
