A stripper Wendz?! Oo-er! Hope you enjoyed it! :D

Have you got a linky to this flash light fitting Lara? I always think that if you scrimp on other areas it's OK to splash out on statement features. :)

Poor little Gracie... do you wear your glasses around her? Try making a game out of it and build up how long you both wear your glasses together maybe? I don't know though... must be so difficult to get a tiny person to do what they're supposed to when you can't reason with them and they can't explain exactly why they don't want to do it! :o

I'd guess that the long naps are down to the heat too, makes me sleepy so must make her even more so!

Well done on the wardrobe clearout! I didn't get mine done as we just weren't at home enough for me to get stuck in! There won't be much to chuck anyway since I got rid of most of my stuff last month! :)
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!

I always try and do the 'mummy is wearing it' tactic. Struggled so much to get her to wear a hat last year but she is a bit easier to reason with now.

The stripper was quite gross lol but i couldn't stop laughing.

She hates my glasses too, she shakes her head and tugs at them until she gets them off - I put contacts in on a morning now before I even get her up or put her bottle on.

Grace has been sat 'reading' Dear Zoo for ten mins now, it's so cute!

Found a local bloke who will list your stuff on ebay for a 5% commission, have emailed him to see as if he does I'm just going to send him everything as it will free up a MASSIVE amount of my time and we'll probably get the money a lot quicker than at the moment. Would make me very happy if I get good news and he can take them off my hands.

Dinah there was a thread on here somewhere (probs the ebay board) about someone wanting to set up to sell other people's things and lots of warnings about how much of a bad idea it was (more risk for the person doing the commission selling though) but maybe look for it and make sure you're happy before you do it! I think it's just things like what happens if it goes wrong/doesn't sell/description is wrong etc..

can you use those glasses holder on-ers (the elastic things which go around the baby's head?) with Grace? Might be harder for her to pull off perhaps?

No wardrobe clearout, I just dont have that many things I dont think and the weather was so nice I spent the entire weekend outside! (apart from Tennis as it was too hard to see the pub tv!)

Glad everyone else had good weekends!

Baby kavics slept today an hour in the morning and 3 in the afternoon and zonked out at 6.30. I guess it's either growth spurt or just the heat.

No wardrobe clear out here, I will not throw away anything as I refuse to buy new things! I need to make do what I have this year.

Yep Noah has been sleeping loads because of the heat, although I am also a mean mummy and wont let him sleep past 3:30pm or he wont go to bed at normal bedtime and I like my peaceful evenings too much :rotfl:
Having said that, had a complete nightmare with him last night, he got himself so hot and bothered that it took over 2 hours to get him to sleep.

No clear out of clothes here, because I haven't really got anything as it is! My wardrobe has been looking very bare for a long time now. Even more so now as I begrudge paying through the roof for maternity clothes that wont last very long.

Congratulations Lara!! Is she another one of your dream people, Tete? I don't mean to worry you but I dreamt you and Zig had babies a couple nights a go (Lara too, maybe I have the gift now! :D)

Cinny that's a scary thought! At work they're all saying I'm sat on the pregnant table 'cause so many people who sit there have gotten pregnant lately!

Huge congratulations Lara! What a wonderful surprise :) All these lovely thread babies, it's gonna be lush! :D

For the record, I think Grace looks very cute in her glasses :) You mentioned laser eye surgeryn though, is there an age limit for that?

Just a quick one to say hello really! I'm in a cycle of stressful work, and crashing out when I get in so I can stay awake and be sociable for when I see the OH on the weekend. So tired. But I'm ridiculously determined to pay off this debt - I miss seeing OH every day so much and I feel as if I'm almost in your original position Dinah - I can only be with OH once I've paid off my debt. It's definitely a huge incentive!

Hope everyone is well, I'm trying to catch up when I can! :o x

We're a bit back there Zig, NIM is working every shift he can get, I was up till 2am last night getting work finished for dad (prompting me to fall asleep on the sofa this afternoon while NIM took Grace to the park). But doing so well last month has really spurred us on that we can do this, kick the debt and have a better life.

This post really resonates with me too. OH has been working overtime the past few weeks so that we can kick this debt into touch and start to save for a home for ourselves and the kids!

I started toilet training Evie today! There were more misses than hits but hopefully we will get there soon. It will be nice to have no more nappies in the house, and very MSE too :)

The heat seems to be knocking all of the kids about, Max slept this afternoon and he only naps about once a month.

Aye Grace just woke up sobbing, 20 mins of mummy cuddles calmed her down so she was asleep in my arms again though. I love moments like that, that my presence is that reassuring to her, and holding this perfect, peaceful (if sticky) little girls in my arms is just perfect. She's a real mummy's girl at the moment, has been for a few months and I have to say I'm loving it.
