Right how about a mini weekend challenge? This weekend anyone who wants to will do a brutal wardrobe cull and post the photos of the stash that's going to ebay/charity/best friend.

Okay, a few more votes for diet/health than money so 'Jump start July' - your call for what this means for you - for me it's loose 5lbs/get under 125lbs. It could be to 30DS, or to try to get your 5 a day every day, to try a new fruit or veg once a week, or even as simple as remember to take a multivitamin every day. Happy insides = happy outsides.

Is Gracie being suspended by something in those pics??
It's her baby sleeping bag, dad is holding it out her way so she doesn't trip, but not actually taking her weight. She was supposed to have been in bed 2 hours earlier but screamed until I let her out again!

I'm in. Baby weight needs to go by the end of the summer. That's a stone:eek:. Joined slimming world at the weekend and try going to gym 3 times.

Need to be less cardigan, more blazer I think, which is a shame because cardigans are basically my favourite thing ever.

Preach it! It's been a joke for the past 5 years with OH that I have more cardigans than common sense. I'm absolutely fine with that

That's such a sad story, TPA! :( I've been on the verge of tears by thinking about the ending of Marley and Me (no real reason, I just like personal torture) and now I'm beginning to spill over. All these feels!

I had to have a second look at the photos thinking "she's a magic baby!" but I'm with you all now, I've seen the wires ;)

Channeled all my pee'd off energy into cleaning yesterday so the house is spotless and we finally saw the bottom of our laundry basket! It's covered by yesterdays clothes now but the fact is that it happened. So looking forward to next week now, when I have no afternoon shifts (last one today!) and our home can look lovely all of the time!

'More cardigans than common sense', love it! :D I love a cardigan too, I wear one every day. If I'm feeling summery I'll wear a 3/4 sleeve one... but I still need the extra warmth! :o My OH was teasing me the other day about the fact that I'd promised him I wouldn't dress like a boring old married woman when we got married and... well, it's kind of happening. :o I told him that it's pointless to dress in skimpy clothes when I'd just need to pop a cardi on top because I feel a chill! :p

I like the sound of the mini weekend challenge, will try to join in! There won't be much for me to get rid of, but there'll be something! :)

I'd love to shop for your new school wardrobe Tete! Let me dress you up, it'll be like having a life size Barbie doll! :)

That is a sad story TPA, but you're right that you need to put your own life into perspective sometimes and appreciate what you have. Thanks for the reminder. :)

Good luck with the wedding planning Ruby. Shame that you've had to change your plans to get married in the UK, but don't let any regrets get in the way of having a wonderful day! :)

Hooray to no more afternoon shifts Cinny! :j

More cardigans than common sense! That's the best slogan ever, I'm going to make a t-shirt...

I'm up for both those challenges Dinah :D Jump Start July for me is to exercise every day - Day 1 was Jillian's abs thing and Day 2 was some dancing at school(!) and a spot of pilates. I also want to get back into my swimming this month, been saying it for ages!

Is this your last day at Job 2 then Cinny? Hurrah!

Show me what you got then Birdie :p And remember I'm super tall so anything remotely above knee length is a total no-no :o

I am another one who loves cardi's. Birdie I'm the same needing a cardigan on all year round. I am so cold blooded.

Cinny - we will be trying for another bambino after honeymoon :).

Dinah - she is so cute and a little adventurer by the looks of it!

Ruby - i hope you can plan a lovely wedding in UK. Shame it isn't exactly what you wanted but hopefully you can get a good deal like you say.

Exciting news is we have booked a LED dancefloor for the wedding. Not very MSE but we did get a good deal on it.

I'll have to have a look round the shops online tonight Tete... it may end up with me coming to kidnap you and taking you real shopping as a pre-back-to-school day out! :p

Cool news about the dancefloor Wendz! For a little extra 'Oooh pretty lights!' fun at both mine and my brother's weddings we bought loads of glow sticks which always seems to please people no matter how old they are! :)
