Ahhh, lovely to hear from you Tink! Still working crazy long hours I take it?!

The frames can be stood up or hung. :) I have discovered the problem with my 'business' though... everyone expects one for their birthday! Last 2 I gave as gifts the recipient said 'Ooooh I'm so glad, was hoping I'd get one!' Nice that they want one, but adds to the workload, especially as I'm still expected to make a card too! :p

Cinny I've noticed your house deposit is looking extremely healthy in your sig! Well done! It might be that I haven't been here for a whole but it feels like it's built up very quickly! Any tips?

Thank you! We've been working on it since July/August time :) My one tip would be, live broke for so many years that when you finally have money.. the only thing you can think to do is save it ;) Honestly though, no real tips. OH is finally getting his commission paid so we're just putting most of that to one side each month, not sure how long we'll get it for so we're making the most while we can!

So nice to hear from you though! And great news that you're managing to save each month :) Sorry to hear about your worries at work, as ever we're always here if you need a vent/if it's things you can vent publicanonly?! Keeping my fingers crossed your work hours aren't as insane as they were last time we spoke??

Hope everyone had a nice weekend. OH is playing football so I'm just about to make a cuppa and catch up on some subscriptions. Went to see TMNT yesterday, but as ever the trailers before hand just left me with more cinema wants. Got to say the Paddington movie looks aboslutely adorable.. can't it be the Christmas season already?? :o

Glad to hear from you Tink! Hope things start to calm down at work for you soon!

You'll all be glad to know that my friend phoned and apologised on Thursday for her insecurity / jealous nature. She's had a lot more going on than she'd told me and she wasn't aware of what she was saying until her mum pointed out to her that she wanted everything she said I was having. Had a really long talk and we both feel better about everything. She's going to focus on going back to uni and leave the wedding planning till 2016.

Speaking of weddings, I bought my dress yesterday! Got an email Friday telling me I'd won tickets to a local wedding show. I wasn't going to go because OH already had plans but he suggested I took my mum. Turned out the first shop I'd tried dresses on in had a stand there, and were offering 20% off all orders. Tried THE dress on again and just bit the bullet and ordered it because I was a lot more comfortable with the price and I knew I'd kick myself if I didn't take advantage of the offer. So saved myself about £350 on this beauty (apologies for the massive picture...)

I've got to say I'm not one for wedding dresses but MASSIVE SWOOOOON RUBY! That dress is gorgeous :happyhear So happy you managed to get it and that's a fantastic saving too.

Hope your friend is okay, though. It's also great she called you, rather than you having to bring it up. Sounds like you've got a good friend there :)

Walked to the post office this morning to send a few ebay things into the abyss. Was in there for 20 minutes before I got to the window, really don't know how people with their own businesses (looking at you Dinah and Birdie!) manage to deal with it. Wondering what I've got myself in for :o

Thanks ladies, I thought it was pretty nice too. Not that it looks anything like that on me but it does have pockets which I got more excited about than is probably normal. Promise to stop hi-jacking your thread now Dinah!

Eeep, such a beautiful dress! Every dress needs pockets too! It totally was a sign from above that you got tickets to the wedding show and it was 20% off!:happyhear

I'm glad all is sorted and cool with your friend too. :)

Hope nice weekends were had. :) We saw my nephew and brother on both days which was lovely, Jake and Zach are getting to be firm friends! :)

Just catching up with last night's Strictly results- how awesome is Tim's last dance after getting voted out?! That's probably what I look like after a few drinks and I think I've got the groove... :rotfl:

    Sorry ROTE, I don't remember that :o

How is everyone doing after the weekend? I'm on 3-day weeks now so have a very Monday-meh feeling! It's Z-Man's first full day in nursery today too so feeling a bit wobbly about that! At least he's only going once a week! :o
