Ahh that's nice that your sister is back in the country Lara. :) Will be lovely to spend Christmas with the littlies. :) I'm looking forward to seeing my nephew on Christmas day, he'll be so confused as to what's going on and will be wondering why he's been forced to wear a silly costume! :) We're only seeing them in the morning though as it's the year for the 'other' families to have us for lunch, I never seem to get quite so excited about the odd numbered years as I do the evens! :p

I am secretly pleased that the cover man isn't very nice as I'll be welcomed back with open arms... but on the other hand he'll be here (so long as he passes his trial period) until I leave so it could make my last 10 weeks a bit uncomfortable. :o

Wonderful news about Flower :T Congratulations!

Eeeew about the smelly cover man Birdie - we were having the same discussion earlier about smelly people and how totally unacceptable it is! Yuk! Hope he takes the hint!

And we've had the Christmas cd on today at work too :D

    It's very quiet on here!

Dinah - I hope you are okay. Not too long now before NIM starts his new job and you can make more inroads into your debt.

I am good. Had to pay tax this month and an accountant so I wasn't able to take anything off the debts or save towards a house deposit. Myself and OH went out last night and I have *finally* got him to agree to looking at smaller houses to buy next yr, meaning less of a mortgage.

At least having to pay those bills didn't put you any further into the red CMD, there's always the bright side! :) Glad your OH is open to a smaller property and smaller mortgage, no point stretching yourselves financially in a big house if you can't afford to enjoy life whilst you live there! :)

I'm feeling miffed today as I've just found out that we're not getting a bonus this year. Despite the company paying out a £300m special divided to the shareholders, it's crying poverty with the staff so we lose out yet again. Not sure if OH's division will be getting a bonus or not, really hope he does. It's silly but I feel like I'm letting him down as he's been counting on this money. :o The real kick in the teeth was the e-mail we got saying that the bonus scheme is running next year and they hope we'll remain committed and focussed on a good year ahead... not without a bloody incentive we won't, Mr Head Honcho! :p

Ha ha, I thought of you when I saw the news about McBusted Birdie! Rubbish news on your bonus though, how much were you expecting?

I just hope we can get tickets, we were out of luck for the 10th Anniversary show despite the 3 of us being online at 9am on the dot when they went on sale! I told OH that he was going to be on babysitting duty at some point in April/May depending on which show we get tickets to and he was wondering why I was making a point of making plans for a night so far away, when I said 'McBusted' he understood! :D

Was expecting something in the region of £150-£200 for my bonus, not loads but it would have covered Christmas or paid for some much desired baby gadgets. :o

I saw on fbook that they are being released early for O2 customers (guessing to do with their Priority thing - not on O2 myself so don't fully understand!) so that might be worth a look if any of you are with them?

So mean about your bonus! Our MD told me today that we 'might' get one, but I managed to dissuade him from telling all of staff this - why dangle a carrot if it might not materialise? Now I just need to forget about it myself too! (Its v unlikely to be honest so not going to get my hopes up!)

Came home from work early today as I was feeling really out of sorts and have basically lounged around all afternoon, feeling cross with myself now as have loads to do in the house! I need an extra weekend day midweek!

Ooh, it's quite on here! Massive congrats to Flower on her little bundle though :) Just in time to be dressed up as a Crimmus pudding :p

With you on being excited for Christmas, Lara! I'm already watching the movies, singing the songs but denying myself mince pies until December :o Was going to get myself a Christmas jumper too this year, but got distracted by this and can't find anything equally amazing in Christmas form :o

I was all excited for the McBusted tour but then realised it would be a thing I went to with my Sister and she goes at the end of the month :(

Hope you're feeling better, Shrimpy :)

We've got tickets to McBusted! My friend is on O2 so used the priority moments thingy to make sure we got tickets by 9.03am! :j I now have to think about a babysitter for the first time in my life! :o It's a Friday night so OH will be at work, I'm sure there'll be a grandmother happy to look after the little munchkin though! :) Is there no-one else who would go with you Cinny? I'd offer to go again with you but can't really justify buying another ticket when I'm supposed to be saving. :o

Are you feeling more 'in sorts' today Shrimpy? :) I hate having days where you just don't feel right, you feel like doing nothing but curling up feeling a bit sorry for yourself but you know you're not quite ill enough to get away with it without feeling guilty! I tend to go with the 'do nothing and feel guilty about it' option though! ;)

I was looking for a Christmas jumper at the weekend but the only one that was truly fantastico for some reason was really short, too short on a normal person, stupidly short on a preggo no matter how many sizes I went up! :o Back to the plan of making something then! :)
