Thanks for asking ladies, things are a bit hard going, I'm just 3 weeks away from submission now and still rewriting. I've been a bit poorly recently so it's been difficult to work as much as I'd like. Just trying to keep on going. I can't wait to get this finished, and give my head peace - arrrghhhhh!!!
Hope little Poppy is doing okay x:A :heartpuls June 2014 / £2014 in 2014 / £735.97 / 36.5%0 -
Hope poppy is okay Wendz!
Fantastic news about your appointment Shrimpy. You must be thrilled.
Lara - you are nearly there. I think the final hurdle is always the hardest. Just try and get the head down xxx
So glad to hear you got the job NIM
And sorry to hear you are down Dinah. I struggle to keep on top of my housework too and I only work 2 days. My kids seem to make it ther mission to destroy my house every day. OH is excellent with the kids but not great at overall clutter busting.Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

Lara, I would take my hat off to you if I was wearing one! I could never do a PhD in a million, trillion years, I just don't have the self discipline. I hope the next three weeks aren't too stressful for you.

Not such great news about your OH's job, hope he manages to find something new very soon.
Hope Poppy's OK Wendz, poor little love.
I have news from the pregnancy thread from Flower (was waiting for her to update here but she must be too busy, bless her!), her baby girl, Poppy, was born last Thursday! :T Hoping she'll be about at some point with more details.

Been hit with another cough/cold/flu type bug. This one makes me super wheezy and tight chested, I don't know if it's asthma or if it's a virus but I'm terrified to go near Grace in case I give her something.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Hope you're feeling better today Dinah, doesn't sound very nice.
Is Poppy all better now Wendz?
This week has flown by (eeek, getting closer to Christmas! Suppose I should start thinking about what I'm going to buy people...) but I'm glad it's Friday! Work have got a contractor in to cover my maternity and do some cover/training up until then and I don't like him very much.Glad I'm not the one having to put up with him for months and months! He also stinks to high heaven, every time he wanders off from his desk we have to spray air freshener around to try to get rid of the stench, even if just for a couple of minutes! _pale_ Everyone around us has noticed too so we've been having some funny personal hygiene discussions over the last couple of days, which I hope the other office stinkers are taking note of!
I'm just glad I'm past the bad-smells-making-me-retch stage, although it's still making me feel queasy!
Hope people have nice weekends planned.Another quiet one for us!

Happy Friday! Just work for me this weekend, and having dinner at a friend's place. I'm looking forward to it since I've become such a giant hermit lately.
I'm desperate for December to come for rest and HOLIDAYS! We are heading to Madeira for 10 days. But desperate for it not to come because I've got so much work to do in the meantime
But I can't wait for Christmas!!! :snow_grin My sister and her family have moved back to the home counties after living abroad for years. It will be so nice to have time to do Christmassy stuff with my niece and nephew.
Lovely news about Flower! Huge congrats to her and little Poppy.
