I understand now its maybe not on there because I purchased it from Birmingham city council & yes it's this one
I have checked other website's where you can access this information and they don't have any record of it being sold either.
I would suggest you check with the Land Registry that you have been registered as the owner of the property so it does not cause problems when you sell.
It is not unknown for property to have been missed off the register.

Okay I am going to sounding really harsh but you are going to have to wake up to reality. If you sell the house for more than you have paid for it you have made a profit, yes you will have paid the mortgage in the interim but you would have had to pay rent otherwise anyway.
The housing market doesn't only go up.
You say you have de-clutteredm but you have gone to such an extent that what you have achieved is to make your house look like a squat, a nice squat but a squat none the less.
I will now go room by room;
Front of the property - Is a mess, not only do you have pots of nothing all over the place, you have a fence down and untrimmed grass.
Kitchen - Reasonable size. But you have a tiny cooker which means anyone moving in will have to alter the cupboards and worktop. You can see from the picture that a bigger cooker should go there from how the top cupboards are spaced. The damaged edge of worktop is unforgivable as it is such a cheap and easy fix. The lack of light shade as well. Get rid of the mess under the worktop where there is a gap.
Lounge - An odd shape and is unusable as you have it laid out. The sofas are too large in the wrong position. Removing the cupboard would make it more useable but buyers will be factoring this cost.
Bedroom 1 - No furniture except a mattress a humongous wardrobe and more mess. Either clear the room completely or a bed, small bedside cupboard and small wardrobe. Could the mess have not gone in the wardrobe.
Bedroom 2 - Again a mattress and mess. Plus the first picture is out of order on the web page. The second picture highlights your lack of maintenance, paint the damn wall or take the picture down.
Bathroom - I like the tiles. Broken bath panel another easy and relatively cheap fix. A blind on the window would also help. What is wrong with the join between the floor and the skirting board, is there a gap. It needs sorting out.
Conservatory - No furniture but plenty of mess.
Back Garden - Mess and lack of maintenance again. It looks again like you have a fence panel down at the back on one side, please tell me there is a fence at the back.
Your best bet is to empty the house, but even if you do this you are going to have to address some of the maintenance issues. Some of them are very cheap fixes.
Without this your house screams unloved and badly maintained.
You could dress the house but I get the feeling you don't want too.mummyroysof3 wrote: »http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-38748424.html
Does it make you feel better to critise mine? Lol
Look at this house, its got smaller rooms than yours but has been appropriately decorated and furnished, it also has been maintained well.
Also look at your competition on rightmove, I am amazed you had an offer of £95k.0 -
I've seen my competition on right move that why I've priced mine 20k lower then the other 2 beds because mine needs work0
-
I don't want to accept 80/85 because it cost me 74, paid about 10k interest in 5 years & spent 11k on garden, conserv, bathrm so cost me 96 I'm not greedy I don't want to profit but don't want to loose out either being a single parent I need a big deposit as possible for my new house mind you thanks to mortgage free wanna b only got 18k left on the mortgage
Hmm, there's the problem. I bought my house for £177k in 2008 when it was knackered. I've easily spent £10k on windows, conservatory, kitchen and general niceties. And I'm selling it (for the second time) for £175k. House values have dropped since 2007/8.
Personally, I think you should have taken the £95k.
Good luck anyhow!0 -
I don't really have anything further to add about the general state of your property except to say this.
Your failure to address these issues means you are leaving money on the table. You are literally throwing money away. This is a great shame because you have done so well in reducing your mortgage - what a shame to give up now.
What a shame you got rid of the dishwasher. It would have added to your sale prospects. I recently sold my house and threw in my unwanted dishwasher to "sweeten the deal". My purchasers were chuffed to bits at my "generousity".
You should always keep things back to use as "extras" in your negotiations, for example light fittings, blinds and curtains, that unwanted rug that you've chucked into the shed. Dig it out and put it back on the floor. That expanse of laminate looks cold and unwelcoming, it is screaming out for a rug.
I agree with the others you have decluttered the life out of your home, you need to put some love back in. Even if you decide to show the house as an empty shell you must address those maintenance issues and get the paint rollers out and refresh those grimy walls.
Not wishing to be rude, but in the state it's in you would be lucky to get another offer of £95K.
If you want a buyer any time soon, you need to give your property some TLC. Alternatively you will need to reduce the price.
It will be far better to put in the work now and get a better price. It won't cost you much - just a bit of effort.
Good luck.0 -
I'm not going to comment on the house, enough has been said I believe (although I have to ask, what on earth is with those daft partial fences at the front?looks ridiculous!) BUT....
Please don't get rid of any more of your childrens things to sell the house! They're already being forced to sleep on mattresses on the floor, with naff all else, don't scrap the trampoline for heavens sake! Why not just store it.If women are birds and freedom is flight are trapped women Dodos?0 -
The first thing to do when you find yourself in a hole is to stop digging.
Lad
Good advice Shovel Lad, so instead of worrying the the OP about her title at the Land Registry, you should perhaps read this:

I agree with Shegirl here - why not reinstate the children's trampoline. It's not fair to them and viewers can see that it is childs toy, a temporary structure that you will be removing and taking with you.0
