    Seventh Anniversary Debt-free and Proud!
Cook it in beer instead, Tastes luverly :P
Its just a bad day, Not a bad life ..
  • Just wanted to say welcome and good luck!

Sorry to hear about your fibromyalgia! It's a tricky one - without an easy way to diagnose and no known cure. Very brave of you to get back to work. I think it will be good for you to meet some new people etc.

Have you checked out the the old style boards on here? They are full of great MSE tips expecially meal planning, cheap and healthy meals, HM cleaning materials...

The HM cleaning materials may be good for you as you would decrease the toxins in your house. Some people find that this makes their symptoms less severe - but you probably know all this stuff already. But on top of that it might save you some money.
Mortgage March 2013: [STRIKE]£55,956 [/STRIKE]£38,500 (aim to pay off by 2020)
    Overpay aim 2013: £9,974/ £5,000 :T:T:T
    Overpay aim 2014: £3,800/£12,000
    Kitchen and curtain fund: €1,000 / €4,000
    Emergency fund: €1,000 / €2,000
  • Ohhh - and you should make a signature with all your debts - then when you pay them off you can track your progress. I find it keeps me motivated and get very impatient to be able to adapt my sig!

Many thanks. Having fibro is hard but I am one of the lucky ones at the moment I only need painkillers every few days and can relax when I need too. Going back to work will be hard but I am thinking it's only 2 days and I can rest the other 5.

I have been reading the oldstyle boards and hopefully will join the grocery challenge next month, once I get my head round meal planning. I am a good cook and baker (even if I do say so myself :)) so I should be able to plan and cook some good meals.

I will add a signature when I figure out how to do it :rotfl:
it will be nice to see the figure coming down.

It has been decided dinner is Lasagne and HM wedges. Just need to shift myself and get into the kitchen to make it all.

Have put the hot water on so I can have a bath later as my joints are very achy. The tops of my feet in particular always feel very sore :(

:(:(:( yet another bad sleep, feel awful today.

I went out this morning and bought vitamin's that contain magnesium. I was told my a chiropractor who was French who said he can not believe how little support and advice there is in the UK for Fibro sufferers. In France they believe that Fibro patients have low magnesium and that taking a supplement to boost magnesium levels in the body can improve symptons.

So am giving them a try. But my god the are huge tablets :eek:

So today is going to be a very lazy day. Dinner is already in the slow cooker will just need to be served when we want to eat :)

Had an afternoon nap and feeling a good bit better :j

I hovered the living room and put a washing on when I got. Hung the washing out an hour ago as it is sunny but windy so hopefully it won't need long in the TD.

Dinner is almost ready, having roast potatoes with stewed beef, puff pastry and lots of veg. Will be left overs as DD has just called to say(beg) she is staying at friends for dinner

Still need to check my gas/elec meters.

Was awake till 2am so didn't wake till after 10am but I was feeling awful so took me till after 12 to actually get out my bed.

DH is working today not sure what the kids will be doing.

Yesterdays washing that didn't get quite dry on the line is in the TD. Looks like on/off showers today so any other washing will need to go in the TD.

Dinner will be home made chicken coujons. My bread is going a bit stale so will wiz it up in the kenwood and make breadcrumbs to coat the chicken breast strips I have. Will make wedges with it as well and have some veg.

Need to make a start on the endless amount of paperwork we have it just sits everywhere so might try and get that started today.

DD is going to put a washing on for me :T

Have picked up a pile of paper work to go through. If any are statements from my debts I am going to add it on my signature (know I think I know how to do this) then bin the paper work.
