Just looking through last weeks post and see my Santander bill. A few post ago I put this at £365.43 which I did think was wrong and it is, it is only £139.83:j:j:j meaning it will be paid off in 7 months and not 19 months :j:j:j might actually just make a full payment when I get my first pay packet.0

Have just subscribed. Huge congrats on getting the job. Sounds like it will be just the balance for you.
How old are your kids? Can they help you get organised? If they are 7+, I think they can do a few tasks:rotfl:
Your meal planning sounds good. I try to do this, but sometimes gets rocked by the fact we have an org veg box delivered and I never seem to get around to checking what is due. And I am a complete Nigella in the sense that I am never knowingly under catered for! But it is great using up stuff, and batch cooking helps when you are knackered and just in from work
- you just heat up something HM from the freezer !

Have a great weekend x
I there. Kids are 11 and 8 so old enough to help but getting them to is a different matter. Apparently no-one else's mum makes them help around the house
Anyway DD did put a washing in the machine and put it on. I also taught her how to make the chicken coujons (SP) and she actually enjoyed it and they tasted good as well so good result.
Meal planning and batch cooking is the way to go I think just need to get round to organising it.
Hope you have a lovely weekend0 -
I had a wee nap after dinner as I was shattered and had a sore head, only napped for an hour but feel wide awake
So tomorrow I need to go out and get new shoes for my job. I checked the shoes I had and the heels on both are frayed and badly scuffed. Checked M&S online and they do a heeled court for £15 so they will do.
Need to also get teachers leaving gifts so will drag the kids with me for them to choose. Won't be anything expensive though.
Dinner tomorrow I think will be egg, bacon, sausages, potato scones and beans. Need to use the bacon and sausages up and no room in the freezer for them.

4 days since I have been on here.
Well completed my training for work. Was a lot to take in but the job is something I've done before and once I get into the swing of things will be stress free. Work collegues have all been very friendly. I am knackered though, my legs in particular are bad.
Still not back in till next week so time to recover. Will only be working 2 days, will be diff days each week but no weekends so I don't mind at all.
House is a tip and I have spent far too much moneyToo sore and tired to do anything but tomorrow I will hopefuly have more energy to do stuff.
Kids finish school at lunchtime tomorrow so might rope them in to do some work, although DD finishes P7 tomorrow she might be out with her friends afterwards.0 -
What a miserable day today weather wise. Since it is wet my joints are bad.
DH did some tidying before he headed off to work so the place is not that bad.
Kids will be home from school soon and that's them off for the summer.
Dinner is going to be HM soup and Mac and Cheese (HM)
Need to do a shopping soon but freezer needs defrosting so will try and use up what we have so it can be defrosted.
