Back from the shops. £7.78 in FF and £17.36 in Lidl.

DD wanted some Cherries in Lidl OMG they are soooo expensive :eek: she has been told she had better eat them and enjoy them lol

Dinner tonight is HM veg soup, spag bol, custard and pinapple chunks.

Still thinking about the holiday. Kids are begging to go  I could do with losing weight and this could be a good motivation but will see ;)

Right off to have some lunch.

Its turned into a lovely day.

One load is on the line and waiting for it to dry to put the 2nd load thats finished in the WM.

Dinner will be Roast Chicken, roast pots and veg. Chocolate fudge cake for desert.

Today I was planning on it being a NSD but kids have been asking for ice lollies and I haven't got any. At the moment they are in the garden playing a board game but if they ask again I will send them up to FF as they are cheap and have a good selection.

Off to sort lunch and have it outside :j

It has been a lovely day. Spent the afternoon flitting between sitting outside and inside to keep an eye on the tennis. Very good game and glad Andy won :j

So it was a NSD after all :j:j:j:j kids were happy making drinks with ice cubes and didn't ask for an ice lolly again.

Hopefully the weather will be nice again tomorrow don't plan on doing much anyway. Glad not to be working till Wed.

Plan to have a shower tonight and watch some TV.

Had a lovely relaxing day and did nothing. Spent time between the garden and the house. Sat in the shade for most of the day though.

DH has had to spend some money on his card. No idea how much though will check though later.

Think tomorrow will be much the same as today trying to soak up as much vit d as I can while this sun lasts :)

Its going to be a warm few days, get some squash drinks and make your own lollies , i bet everybody has lolly moulds hiding somewhere at the back of a cupboard. We use sticks off bought ones to freeze up our own ice pop lollies.
Its just a bad day, Not a bad life ..

    Hi Mara_uk7

I think we do have moulds some where will dig them out.

Today was another lazy day:) though I did pop out to the shops. I could not find my sun glasses anywhere, popped into Pmark but they did not have any glasses that didn't have any bling on them (I don't do bling lol) so went to M&S and was really pleased to get a lovely pair for £5 including a case to keep them in. I then nipped into Wsmith and got a couple of books so £8.99 spent, also poped to FF as needed some things spent £9.88 (must remember to update sig) I did buy some ice lollies though these were a must on a day like today :rotfl:

In at work tomorrow :( but can't really complain I have had a good couple of days plus have a new book to read on the bus :T

House is roasting I have all the windows open but there is not much of a breeze.

Dinner was burgers that were in the freezer left over from our 4th July day.

Not sure what to have tomorrow but freezer is fairly full so will make do with what we have. Will see how I am when I get home.

Off to watch some tv before heading to bed not to sleep because it's too hot

Must remember to pick up my prescription, got text today to say it was ready.

I ran out of my prescription painkillers for my fibro. I don't take them often but when I ran out and I was taking shop bought painkillers they weren't quite hitting the spot.

However if this weather keeps up I wont be needing them :j

Well done on the new job! Hope its going well.

I hate this hot weather though, I'm milk bottle white and have to stay out of the sun for fear of frazzling. Even factor 50 lasts me no time.

If DD wants more cherries they had punnets for £1 in Asda, I also got a pack of 6 doughnut peaches for £1 too. They were lovely and made a refreshing change from crisps.

Thanks GetOutandOn. DD loved the cherrys so will def try Asda as £1 is cheaper than Lidl where I bought them.

Just popped on in my t-break. Work going well today but will be glad to get home.
