Drilling a hole through won't affect security, the door gets locked and that's it.
Some sort of plug and that's the easy bit, and the door is sealed, landlord will never know,;);)I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.
Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)
Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed0 -
Me Thinks....
''How to break into a house with UPVC 5 lock door mechanism , Masterclass ''
Have you not thought of possibly getting a Locksmith out. The cost he may charge, may be cheaper than the damage you may cause taking note of some of the suggestions on here0 -

And Methinks you should think again.
Bangs head on wall in the absence of said emoticon.
Read again, the door is unlocked, the op has the key, there is an obstruction behind.

If you can get to the outside of the bin store would it be less damaging to drill through the wall to prod the bin?0

I know I said that I wouldn't be back but I just can't believe that you are still talking about replacing the lock and handle, have you seen the price of them? you must be made of money.0

At last a sensible suggestion , drill thru a mortar joint , cost of repair ??
Smallest bag of sand/cement you can buy or find a builder , after he has stopped laughing ,would supply a cupful.0 -
Bloody amateurs;
1. Drive the bin shed and slam the brakes to slide the bins forward, failing that
2. Use a monkey bar to remove the door
3. Drill the door to bits
4. Using a multi tool cut through the door frame
or at your own risk to life and limb, do what's happening in Germany as reported by the BBC, seal all hole to bin store, fill with explosive gas and blow baby blow :-D Door is gone ;-)0 -

Me thinks someone needs to get a sense of humour, it was a light hearted suggestion.
A lot of the ideas mentioned above, would work whether the door was locked or not.0 -

Nope, you completely miss-read it by suggesting getting a locksmith out, fess up:D
