Help - Cant open door - bin stuck under handle

Please Help!!!
I have a bin store room outside my property. IT has a UPVC door with multipoint locking system and no other way to get in.
I have cleverly managed to close it with the wheelie bin right under the handle. So I can pull the handle up to lock the mechanism and I can unlock it but I cant pull the handle down to actually open it, as the wheelie bin must be right underneath it - I have been trying to rattle it and move the handle up and down a lot (Ive also tried pulling the handle as hard as possible downwards but nothing is working).
Today it is stuck fast! The hinges are on the outside but it looks like you have to have the door open to remove these (I can see a screw on the inside part of the hinge).
This is a rental property so I dont want to be causing too much damage and obviously dont want it to cost a lot. I have thought about drilling the lock (never done that before and Im not sure if that would work, also my drill is in the store cupboard).

Any advice please????

I like the enthusiasm for drilling the lock but that wont help. Assuming its a euro clylinder you've already unlocked it to try and open the door?

You need to try and remove the handle from your side and hope the spindle is easy enough to retrieve to your side. Then push the spindle about half way back in to it is not acting on the back handle if that makes sense?

Also, just to check, the panels are beaded on the inside of the door aren't they?

    Thanks Kiran.
There arent any screws on the outside to be able to remove the handle without somehow ripping it off. How would I do that without damaging the door?
Yes it seems to be beaded on the other side of the door

Is there not a plate/cover that just pulls (or require gentle prizing) off?

I have tried to pull that off but it isnt moving. Its the same handle as my front door and on that door the faceplate on the inside has screws top of bottom which I assume screw straight through to the faceplate on the other side (the side I have access to)

When you try forcing it down, how far does it go, is it almost there or a long way off opening?

It goes down by about an inch which appears about a third of the way (looking at my front door anyway)

Is there any space under the door for a flat ruler type instrument to poke under the wheel of the bin to try and push it back?

As a last resort you could try forcing it down with additional leverage (such as sliding a pole over the top of the handle). It could break the handle but it you will probably be able to go through the bin lid. It's not without risk but it is the only other option I can think of without seeing it. You may want to fess up to the landlord/letting agent

No there isnt a gap anywhere - there is a little rim that goes all around the edge on the inside of the door - damn secure door! I think I might have to try to lever the handle / hammer it and see what happens.
