they owe so they need to pay..no need for you to feel guilty about pressuring them

I agree Taxi - it's just that one reply spent an awful lot of correspondence/time having a go at me for all my failings - seems like it was their excuse for not acknowledging the debt, let alone contacting me to sort out a payment plan,:(

Obviously I've not "bought in" to their excuses...but for 24 hrs after their email I went through hell - Samaritans everything.......I felt so worthless.........but maybe that was their intention?

I'm OK now..:T.and Numpty was stalwart.....but for 24 hrs it was pretty hairy and I so doubted myself :o

Sorry to hear its been so challenging, Wol, and I really hope those repayment plans are held to, like Taxi says, its your money - I understand how those complaints can rock you tho, even when you know you've done the work well.

    Hi El

The good thing is I recognised the tactic immediately for what it was - even though I still felt upset for a day! Add to that the fact i actually tackled the people concerned is all major progress from how i would have responded 5 or even 2 years ago. It also demonstrates that the psychotherapy is still a necessity and well worth the money I am paying each week.

Numpty is paying a visit to see his extended furry family next month :D.......and to play with the pressure washer........not simultaneously I hasten to add :rotfl::rotfl:

    Hi KC

If I'm honest I don;t think the 3 year one will last for more than a few months - but at least it gives me some income to pay the bills until I can get another job.:)

How are you doing - Hope all is well chez KC

    Well-expressed Buffy :rotfl:

The new pigs clearly didn;t enjoy their baths! Only Randy Dandy has poked his nose out to say hello today - I keep having to check the others are still alive as they are so quiet plus not eating their veggies ..... Still it's not unusual for this to happen given the car journey/change in environment etc and they should settle down in a few days - They'll be getting the spot-on mite treatment tomorrow.......definitely not as traumatic as the shampoo and set last night :D

    Today's good news!

Boiler broke down last week. It's quite an old model and spares are getting more difficult to find. :(...........Boiler man came today and said it needed a new PCB.........luckily I had picked one up off Freecycle a couple of years ago :money::money:

..................so he fitted it whilst he was here and I now have hot water and central heating again .....without further delay...and saved myself £150....:j:j
