    Urrrghhh

    It's draining......

    Quickie points:
    a) Land valuer has sent blistering email to SWater - me too on another matter...things are starting to move positively I hope.....:T
    b) not doing very well at home working current contracts as finding all types of excuses not to work i.e, self-sabotaging....to the extent I got my first ever flaying from my Counsellor this week :o

    c) Got £6pcm reduced on Bt broadband by moving to infinity by phone
    d) finally summoned up courage to challenge an ex-dearest-old friend on facebook to repay the money they owe me from over a year ago - £1k -it hurts.... there's no crying icon

I have however put an oestrogen patch on tonight - From past experience, I think this will really help how I approach things next week  :j:T

    This week's positive post :D

I have, at long last, tackled three people who owe me money:

    1) £6k invoice finally paid last week for work done up to Jan this year - :j
........although client is refusing to pay the extra £2.5k they asked me to work..... so may be a court claim in the future :(

    2) Repayment plan agreed with ANOTher at £500 per month - they owe me personally £20k ...so if they stick to regular monthly payments, I will be repaid within 3 years 'ish

    3) Hopefully the third will pay all owed straight away once i track back my bank statements to find out exactly how much...it;s around £1-1.5k...

    Also:
My fixed term contract ends this month so no "proper" work as yet lined up for July.....although income-wise....

    a) I now have to submit my claim for all the invigilation of GCSE's I have done the last two months ....which amounts to the princely sum of £200 :rotfl:

    b) I have now been offered casual worker status when my fixed term contract ends....and it would appear there will be a fair few days work required in July :D

    c) I'm hoping Southern Water will finally agree a settlement to pay me a lump sum for permanently occupying a large part of my back garden with their recent pumping station installation

So money-wise - I'm still hanging on by my fingernails......I have been applying for jobs but still without success.....however I will be starting a new and more pro-active "job" campaign in mid-July.

Doing a rescue piggie run tomorrow - nine pigs in total - the poor owner is losing their home .:(....but luckily new permanent homes have been offered. So i am picking all of them up and variously delivering at drop-off points en route to their new owners. It will be an emotional and difficult day.....for both me and the owner...but given the circumstances - this is the best outcome for the animals. :)

Thanks El - lovely to see you here :kisses3:

I'm plodding on - and am determined to conquer the mountain!

The fact that i am having to put pressure on people that "owe me" is really quite horrible and uncomfortable for me :(- but I need to do this to survive until I get offered a job - needs must!

Well - this was meant to be a simple run - transporting healthy guinea pigs to their new owners.....

    ......unfortuately it wasn;t :(

Some of the piggies had "minor" health problems....mites/lice.... which the new owners weren;t prepared to accept - so they have come back with me to receive vet treatment at my expense...after which the owners "mght be prepared to accept them"

I returned tonight post 8.30pm and have just finished bathing and caging 4 extra piggies who have severe mites/lice problems....they need to be quarantined/separated from the rest ......so they are.

I always knew it was going to be a bit of a risk .... however i am absolutely appalled that one of the new owners who stepped up to the plate to rehome these guys felt so easily able to refuse them for want of a simple but solvable health problem
