Hi Beanie
It is a sad fact that my guinea pigs may be starting to hate me because I am not supplying them with fresh dandelions every day. Having been initially spoilt rotten - they don;t seem to understand that because I am now working incredibly silly long hours with <one day a week off, their demands/expectations are unreasonable.
I accepted an offer on my house this week which has left me very tearful (It WAS after all meant to be mine and the pigs Forever home)
Despite all the pressures - I am loving the job ...just desperate to get some personal time to try to find my summer shoes in the myriad of boxes still not unpacked. (Currently still wearing FUGG boots) and be a bit more responsive to the piggies.
Thanks for asking. Hope all is well with you?

Long time no contact - but I have been a tad busy these last 12 months!!!
So this is it my MSE friends!!
I regret to inform you that The Riverbank - scene of the MSE Riverbank Rave back in 2010 (or was it 2011?) - has finally been sold .....and I am currently Mortgage Free :money:
I moved into rented accommodation in the West country for the new job back last April and the new job has been going just fine and dandy (albeit ridiculous hours and costing a fortune in extra accommodation expenses what with running two houses!)
The Riverbank has been faithfully visited by me every month it's been empty and up for sale; until finally, after 3 other offers/chains fell through, we suddenly got "an emergency call to arms" in late November to exchange on the 10th December and complete on the 20th Dec. Talk about a whirlwind!!!
Luckily by that time Uncle Numpty Monkey was down to visit for Xmas and helped me to remove all the remaining contents into storage, (amidst many tears!)
So my lovely Riverbank home (which was originally meant to be forever) has now been entrusted to it's new owners....and Wol will be sorting out a new life in the West country.
I guess this means we will have to start another diary soon as despite being mortgage free, I am not debt-free as I still have about £20k stoozed on 0% cash transfer credit cards which has been the only way I have been able to survive this last year.....and I now have a lot of e-baying to do
But as Martin says - it's about good and bad debt - and my debt is (I hope) good debt that will be sorted
To all my MSE friends - past and present - you are too many to mention individually. Thank you all for your support. :T. I couldn't have got this far without ALL of you. :TYou've seen the best of me - and some of you have also seen the worst - (and believe me, I was not easy to be friends with at my worst!)
For anyone new coming to this thread - I guess the message is that whilst things might not happen overnight - and can sometimes seem quite dire - it's as BeanieLou always says - keep plodding and keep on MSE as the support here can come from sources you would never expect and is invaluable.
Happy 2017 to all DFW's and MFW's - past and present - I hope it brings you all further towards your goals.
Yours emotionally
Wol
